We checked into the hotel at around 6:00 pm on 29th June 2022. We were greeted at the reception advising that our stay was booked for 3 person occupancy. So the hotel was well aware about it.
Through the ********** booking process the hotel contacted us if we would be interested in an upgrade. Since we were three persons we had requested for a suite, however, there was no upgrade provided although the request was made before hand.
When we entered the room there were no hand towels or face towels not a bath mat provided. On calling housekeeping we were provided with one hand towel for a triple occupancy room. On repeated calling also we were only provided with a third bath towel but no hand towels and no bath mat.
The mattress too was much to be desired as it was one which had lost its tension and was soft to sink inside to a level where one could have developed a lumbar problem. It was fortunate that we had an early 4:00 am flight so limited use of the mattress was required.
The saving grace was that the airport transfer staff was good which allowed us to leave peacefully.
