Iolida Village Hotel

Reserved hotel at 3/2023 for 2 families and asked rooms next to each other via email. When we arrived to hotel 9/2023 they said that this is not possible since hotel is full. Like you could not arrange this in 6months? Restaurants are avarage and staff below that but pools and hotel is quite nice. Would not stay second time, still nice holiday 6/10.

Apologies for the late review...Stayed here last year with my other half and two children for a week all inclusive... We all had the best time ever! Hotel is located in a great place with shops and the beach less than 5 minute walk away. Our room was more like an apartment and was so modern and had everything we needed. The receptionist even put a selection of sandwiches, snacks and drinks in our fridge ready as our flight was delayed on arrival and we didn't arrive till 3am, a lovely touch. We loved the pools and the water slides and you can easily spend the whole day just in and out of the pools etc. The staff are absolutely amazing here, so friendly and helpful. Reception helped with printing off transfer documents and also spoke to Transfer company to help out. The biggest shoutout goes to Harris serving the pool bar drinks, he is one of the most loveliest man I have ever met and he is by far an absolute shining star at the hotel so please thank him from Jay. Food was really great too, we all had a lot to choose from and good quality too. It is very rare that we want to go back to the same hotel in the future as we love trying new places but Iolida Village is an exception as we had such an amazing experience here. The only thing I would say needs improving is the entertainment as there wasn't much on in the evenings, but we still enjoyed kareoke and the Cretan dancers. Please add some more entertainment and this would be perfect! Thanks for making our holiday so good and we will definitely return in the future!! :)

5 stars are too few to describe the hospitality of this place !! Amazing staff, caring,genuine and professional. Cretan hospitality at its best !! Thank you very much for our great time we had there !!

I have just spent a week as a female travelling with two young kids. This was the most comfortable hotel I have stayed at in a long time. It felt so safe and it was so family friendly. ALL of the staff were fabulous, the manager was very professional and was seen around the hotel ALL of the time. Charis on the pool bar absolutely superb and donated his National Service belt to my 9 year old once he heard he loved everything to do with the army. The food is lovely and presented SO well. I did not queue for a thing all week, not a drink or food. The hotel is immaculately clean and there are staff around all the time. The location is brill. There Is a supermarket within 100 metres or so as is the Main Street and the beach just beyond. There wasn’t much entertainment day or night but I would book again despite this as the hotel was so friendly.

We had very nice vacation in this hotel with small kids! Hotel had good spirit, super clean, quite surroundings, nice architecture, lovely gardening made us feel so good and welcome! Personal was very kind, helpful and very service minded! We bought all inclusive and it was good choice! We definitely want to come back there again!

Stars 1-5 were 5 is the best Staff, 5. You want to be quiet or have a talk, anything goes. They are professional and serviceminded. The head chef is a force of nature, you can actually feel when he enters the diningroom. Location, 4. Quiet but still close to main street and the beach. The entire hotel is adapted for weelchair. Room, 4. Bright and spacius. The sofa beds is quite hard but the masterbed is ok. Food and drinks, 3. There is both vegetarian and meat options. Always fresh vegetabiles and fruit. The food tastes really good and is beautifully presented. Desserts are great. The "all inclusive" is more of a semi inclusive- espresso, some alcolhol, icecream etc is not included and for that you will need to pay extra. There is not much alcolhol in the drinks, very watered down. Pool, 5. Clean! Depth is 1.50m

Just come back from Lolida village Greece lovely staff do anything for you food always lovely deserts fantastic Costa one of managers lovely .my grandson has autism and only eats chicken nuggets they cooked them every night for him nothink to much for them had brilliant time weather lovely hot bar tender Harris runs water park pool bar got lot time for children stafas pool bar tender made special cocktails for children new all children names by third day go back next year we left with my family got most of staff on face book they requested us on the second day we some home from smith family and Thomas family we also had a cocktail named after my dad called Daz’s quench going on cocktails list I highly recommend this hotel you won’t be disappointed

Ένα πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο ιδανικό για παιδιά. Τα δικά μας ξετρελάθηκαν, ειδικά με το water park. Το προσωπικό είναι με το χαμόγελο στο στόμα, τα δωμάτια είναι εντελώς καινούρια,πολύ άνετα για μια τετραμελή οικογένεια. Κάτσαμε μια βδομάδα και δεν βρεθήκαμε καθόλου. Το φαγητό πολύ καλό ,μεγάλη ποικιλία, τα αναψυκτικά πολύ καλά ,όπως και τα παγωτά και η καθαριότητα του ξενοδοχείου παντού εξαιρετική(κάθε μέρα καθαριότητα δωματίου και αλλαγή πετσετών). Στα μείον, δεν υπάρχει οπτική επαφή με τη θάλασσα, τα μπαρ και ειδικά αυτό του water park, θα έπρεπε να έχει κάποιες επιλογές πρόχειρου φαγητού, δεν γίνεται να πρέπει να φύγει ο γονιός από το water park, να ντύσει ευπρεπως το παιδί του για να πάει να τσιμπήσει στο κεντρικό εστιατόριο. Επίσης θα πρέπει να παρέχεται στο all-inclusive το Φρέντο εσπρέσσο και όχι στην τιμή των 3 ευρώ, ενώ τα παγωτά εκτός all-inclusive είχαν 3,50 ευρώ, εξωφρενική τιμή. Τέλος η μπύρα ήταν απαράδεκτη, σκέτο νερό ενώ ένα μπουκάλι νερό καθημερινά στο δωμάτιο δεν πιστεύω ότι θα έριχνε έξω την επιχείρηση. Ένα ξεχωριστό μπράβο στον μπάρμαν του waterpark φοβερός επαγγελματίας με το χαμόγελο στο στόμα και πολύ καλός με τα παιδιά, και στον βραδυνό μπάρμαν που δούλευε ασταμάτητα με χαμόγελο και ωραίο χιούμορ. Ευχαριστούμε ιολιδα, τα παιδιά μας, σιγουρα θα σε μνημονεύουν όλο το χειμώνα!!!
