Overall a nice hotel with great staff who are welcoming, attentive and friendly. All facilities were clean and the property gardens well maintained. Unfortunately our experience wasn't quite what we'd hoped for, however we appreciate that most of this was probably down to our stay being at the end of the tourist season for this hotel as it was set to close for winter on the day we checked out. (Unfortunately we weren't made aware of this when we booked the trip through Jet2 holidays). Note: Our stay was from the 17th - 24th October. During the last few days of our holiday, guests seemed to have been forgotten about and the place just seemed to be focused on winding down ready for closing up. We only found out several days into our stay through a member of staff that we would be some of the last guests to leave and that the hotel would be closing after we checked out. As our departure date drew nearer, the experience around the hotel began to rapidly decline and left us feeling slightly disappointed with our visit. To set some context, we booked an all inclusive package holiday with Jet2. It may not sound like much, but we were disappointed to find that on 4 out of the 7 days of our holiday the poolside bar was closed. To get a drink from the nearest open bar, one had to leave the resort, cross the road, venture through the main hotel building and then head to the beach side bar out of the back of the hotel. Furthermore, the bar that had remained open had ran out of some drinks and all snacks. (Part of the all inclusive package). With 3 days to go before we were due to leave, staff had put away all but 2 sun loungers (taken by other guests) around one of the pools and the other pool had approximately 10 left out, but only 2 umbrellas (taken by other guests as well). By the final day all furniture around one of the pools had been removed, forcing guests to use the one pool. Our frustration continued to grow having gone for lunch on the last few days of our trip, we were informed that the lunchtime buffet had been replaced with a set menu mainly consisting of salad and fish. (Great for some, but not personally to my taste). Although not ideal, we sympathised with why the hotel was doing this as there were only approximately 30-50 guests remaining at this point. As someone who is a bit of a picky eater, I found the buffet options (when available) were quite limited compared to other Greek hotels that we've stayed at before and I found myself eating the same meals quite frequently. In fairness guests may find an entirely different experience when staying at other times in the year. We went out for meals on a few more occasions than what we would normally to mix things up a bit. Our frustrations are predominantly with Jet2 holidays who could have informed us when booking this trip that the all inclusive experience would be limited and to take into account that the hotel would be closing on our departure date.
