Excellent place to stay when visiting north cornwall . Hotel very clean and comfortable with excellent staff who were very helpful. Room was clean and comfy perfect for a short stay. Handy for trips to Padstow and surrounding areas at a reasonable cost.

The hotel is very conveniently located for visiting different parts of Cornwall, especially the noth coast. The rooms provide simple but perfectly adequate accommodation at a good price. Staff are friendly and helpful This was our second visit, and we would happily come again.

Reception staff good. Poor quality.amenities. Attached pub/ restaurant badly run.we should have been advised before arrival that breakfast was not available and the staff there wanted to go to bed early.. Then we could have found somewhere else more pleasurable to stay.

Friendly staff. Easy check in. Always clean and tidy rooms. Stay there regularly for work and never had any issues.

As per our budget we chose to stay here and we didn’t regret for it. You will get restaurant next to it which serves proper English breakfast in the morning. Best thing is Aldi and b&m are opposite side of the road and petrol service centre with m&s food. So just grab as per your need and enjoy the trip towards Cornwall.

Really great base, good sized family room, plenty of parking and a pub on site serving great breakfasts.

I was on a brief return to the town where I had stayed for many years as a child for our summer holidays. The hotel was conveniently sited for visits to Polzeath and the coast path where I enjoyed 2 days walking and birding

Room wasn’t cleaned especially the bathroom black marks on the bath to be told they where chip marks from the mataince guy but this wasn’t chip it was dirt or something stuck to the bath that would not wash of and wasn’t willing to shower due to the conditions of the bath/shower asked for room to be freshly cleaned to return to find out room was not cleaned could only wash over sick even that leaked had out towels on floor asked for fresh towels etc didn’t get any replacements whatsoever!! Not amused upon check out was told that there is a number of issues with the matiance team and said they had issues and admired fault no single sorry to then say it was short staffed over the weekend I said still not excuse to then no offer for refund or offer of full refund with compensation for two nights stay at cost of hotel nothing like that whatsoever b
