This isn’t a bad review but wanted to put a few things in here which may be useful for people looking for a certain type of place and some things for management to take as honest feedback. First off, the setting of the hotel is stunning with the gorgeous sunsets pretty much every night. We paid extra for sea view which we kind of got but not what we expected, it was more of the pool and was ground floor so not very private either but still nice enough. The terrace (and what we saw of the balconies) was small. I think what I mean by this is, if you pay extra for sea view maybe don’t get your hopes up too much. The rooms themselves were nice enough but found them to be quite small with not enough storage for an 11 night stay, there were little hangers for two people and there wasn’t one single drawer or more than one shelf in order for us to unpack fully. We pretty much lived out our suitcase which wasn’t the best as it was in the way so much because the rooms were so pokey. Tip, make sure you use jet mode on the aircon, so much better. Cleaners were friendly and came every day, mopped, new towels, made the beds whilst also topping your fridge up with new bottles of water which was great. The pool was ok but abit underwhelming, It was very deep so everyone sort of crammed in at the shallow end most of the time. The area itself was again quite small and we struggled to secure a sunbed most of our stay, unless we did the old wake up early and get your towels out. Because of the layout, most of the sunbeds are in shaded areas too – no problem just highlighting this for the sunbather lovers. One thing I just couldn’t get my head round is why on earth they have 6 or 7 massive red traffic cones with chains all the way around the pool ALL DAY, the only thing the lifeguard did was take the chains down when the pool was open! Sort of understand that its their way of showing that the pool is ‘closed/no lifeguard on duty’, however there’s also signs up to show this and people still use the pool outside of 10am-6pm anyway. It was just abit rubbish having to look out to big ugly cones on what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. The pool bar was handy but, in all honesty, we found the main bar woman to be quite rude, not very friendly, or approachable despite us always smiling and being polite when asking for drinks etc. The only time we saw her smile was with other staff members. There was another young girl who did her days off, the difference was clear and she was great for that type of job, not sure why she isn’t on it everyday! The beach was nice to look at but effort to walk on as it’s not a sandy beach, its more stoney. Even when you get into the water there are big rocks on the seabed to get over which can be slippery as the waves can be rough. We had to buy some water shoes which were available everywhere and quite cheap but we did enjoy it and had a laugh every time we went in because it was so chaotic. The food was nice enough but very v
