A trip of a lifetime. It was such a beautiful place to stay and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. The views, the ambiance and the small touches made the stay perfect! The rooms can get a bit hot, but the fans made a difference and it was so beautiful, we did not mind.

We were picked up from PE Airport (and redelivered two days later) by the camp manager. This was fortunate as the 25 minute drive off the road up to the camp is quite challenging in an ordinary car. Once you get there the view is magnifient, including from your bath! The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The dining room serves good food and has a good wine list. The camp manager and all the staff were most helpful throughout our stay. The game drive down to the Addo Park gave us a really close up experience of the elephants as well as seeing black rhino. All in all we would highly recommend Figtree.

During our trip to South Africa, we decided to go to Addo Elephant Park and wanted to stay somewhere nearby and chose Camp Figtree. This place exceeded expectations from 5* food and wine to the most beautiful plush tented rooms. The staff were all amazing too. Big shout out to Norma, who took us on Safari to Addo. Halfway through, she cooked a delicious braai, and we saw many fantastic animals. One piece of advice wpujx be to hire a 4×4 to get to Camp Figree as the road surface is very bumpy.

Camp Figtree is a unique experience set on the top of a mountain with stunning views and exceptional service. We stayed in the tent accommodation with all modern fittings making it more like a house and a bathroom with a view plus a private deck overlooking the valley. The food is wonderful as is the service. A real find. It’s quite a drive up the mountain to get here, not for the faint hearted and definitely better in a SUV which we did not have ! Worth the bumpy drive to experience this gem.

an absolute haven in this wonderful and serene location . An absolute paradise for relaxation especially in the middle of hectic travel itinary but if you want to venture off camp fabulous game drives especially featuring elephants, hooved animals , monkeys baboons and the ever endearing warthogs . Lovely food with a thoughtful menu

We first came here 5 or 6 years ago on the recommendation of friends - but it was not until this year under the care of Brett and Lara that it really delivered on its promise. Outstanding service, location, food and leadership means you will truly have a relaxing, reviving few days when you stay here. Food was excellent, service was first class the whole experience one that makes you wish you never had to leave. Bound to try others in the collection now - well done Brett and Lara.

A truly beautiful place with excellent service and very good food. A fantastic game drive into Addo Elephant Park. Gorgeous sunsets. There are different rooms on the property but check if you will be happy with some steps to your room.

Probably some of the best views you’ll ever see. A charming lodge with good food & lovely pool area. Very comfy loungers & setting. The tented rooms are beautiful & have very comfy beds. No animals around the lodge obviously due to location but only a 30 minute drive to the Addo park

Camp Figtree exceeded our expectations! It was the first stop on our 3 week trip to South Africa and really set a high bar. The rooms were comfortable, the view was great, the staff was friendly & helpful, and the food was fabulous! Our game drive with Lungi was wonderful. Only the long, rough drive in was less than perfect.....but we went to Africa for the adventure, so it was fine. Going into Addo for 2 days was a highlight.....none of us grew tired of watching the elephants.
