Ramada by Wyndham Acapulco Hotel & Suites

What I liked most was close to the beach and a really nice kitchen. Not many by the beach have a fridge and microwave and this was my favorite in Acapulco so far. Only a lap pool but I go there to be in the ocean and. close to the beach.

The property is nice, but, it is really noisy. I mean really noisy to the point that you are not able to sleep. Had no sleep all night. Will not return.

Excellent value for money. Friendly staff. Excellent sea view. One drawback is the noisy road under the window.

Excellent property for safety, security, cleanliness and location close to traditional central Acapulco. If you book because of kitchen in room, be aware there are no dishes, utensils or other kitchenware. We asked and received a few basics to make do. Other than that, we have only good to say about this hotel.

On the positive side this hotel has great views of the bay and is just across the street from the beach. However, the street is very busy and loud. The windows let all of the sound in. The pool looks nice but is small for adults. Better if traveling with little kids. The back part of the parking area is in an abandoned building and feels sketchy. The room itself was comfortable but could use a lot of maintenance (badly stained blinds, oddly placed outlets, old bathroom fixtures, etc.) Staff was friendly and restaurant was reasonable.

The most clean,and the air conditioner is perfect.

The suite was large and very comfortable. Wonderful view of the beach and bay. Very good price. Nice and quiet. The staff needed training. The restaurant was very basic and hotel needed more furniture and decor. Generally I would recommend it.

I like that they have a kitchen, kitchen utensils per request, attentive staff, a safe and a secure parking garage.

I booked this hotel, across the street from a beautiful beach. But, though the room was huge w/a kitchen and great view there were problems, not easily solved because no one at the hotel spoke English, at best a few words. I'm not an "ugly American," I don't expect folks on the street to speak English, but at hotels, airports and train stations I do. If you're German or Japanese you probably don't speak Spanish, and you won't find many Mexicans who speak their language. English is the int’l travel language. I can't figure out why it’s not mandatory at an otherwise nice hotel. And a Ramada! My television didn't work. Took 3 employees to fix it, (remote had no battery). Plus, there weren’t dishes and cookware for the kitchen, nor glasses for water they provided. That was remedied, but not the balcony door, which didn’t lock. The beach was lovely and it was an easy location to other parts of Acapulco, all easily accessible by bus for 50 cents. I took a cab my first night with help from a clerk speaking a few words and got me to the Acapulco Cliff Divers for a spectacular show. One woman clerk was helpful. Most of the staff were not interested in my language problem or sincerely couldn't help. Also, cabs from airport are 2x as expensive as Mexico City. Armed with my skill with the bus, with just a carry-on for two nights, I took one most of the way to the airport, which cost me 70 cents, as opposed to the $25 it cost from the airport. Ramada, get your act together!
