2泊お世話になりました。駅からも近く徒歩で行けます。レストランやパブ、スーパーなどがあるエリアも近くて便利、それでいて周りは非常に静かでくつろげました。ボウネスまでも歩いて行けますが、帰りは坂道を上らなければならないのでバスを利用しました。 近くの見所への行き方を教えてくれたり、スーツケースを3階の部屋まで運んでくれたり、とても親切で助かりました。

พักสองคืนใน”ห้องพักบรรยากาศสบาย” ห้องค่อนข้างเล็ก แต่น่ารักและตกแต่งอย่างดี แม้ว่าฉันจะรู้สึกว่าห้องนั้นไม่ได้ทําความสะอาดอย่างเต็มที่ พวกเขามีใยแมงมุมสองสามเส้นบนเพดานมีขยะใต้เตียงและฝักบัวมีเชื้อราเล็กน้อยบนฝาปิดรอบประตูฝักบัว อาหารเช้าน่ารักมาก มีหลากหลาย และบริกรที่สุภาพและเป็นกันเอง

Very nice little place, good location and great breakfast.

Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

Guest house was lovely, but room I stayed in was small with separate toilet. If I went back would book a ensuite room. As other guests were using same toilet and shower which was slippery if someone else had used shower. Owners were lovely and helpful. Didn't have breakfast there but other guests staying there said it was lovely.£10 per person for traditional English breakfast or continental. Would definitely recommend it but stay in ensuite with your own toilet and shower

It’s a lovely spot with a fantastic view and a welcoming host. The breakfast was delicious, and the fireplace adds a cosy touch. Just keep in mind that being an older English house, it might not be as spotless as some other places.

The hotel I was originally booked in had a flood so at the last minute I had to find another one, I found  Arkale lodge and it didn’t disappoint, the rooms are pretty basic, but extremely clean which  in my book is more important than a fancy room. And certainly good enough for the price I paid, the gentleman that showed me around was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 which was perfect for my continuation of my Hadrians wall walk. The Breakfast was included in the room price and was exceptional (full English, which I easily adapted as a non meat eater)  It was plentiful, delicious and freshly made. And a great start to my long tiring day  Thank You so Much  For your kind hospitality  Cathie :)
