Hotel Rodon

This year we stayed 6 nights (17th to 23rd of July 2022) in our home in Patmos for the 7th time in last 10 years. To be honest, I have to admit that how lucky We are. For me staying at Skala neighborhood (the center of the island) is the best way to experience Patmos. It's very convenient and at the same time very quiet at nights. Perfect restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, central bus stop, taxi station, markets and etc. This is where Rodon Hotel waiting for you, just 2-3 minutes from everything. I am probably writing same things about how clean is Rodon Hotel for the last 10 years, nothing changed. The cleaning of the hotel is beyond perfect and still the best. Hotel also offers fast wi-fi, safety box, air condition, fridge, tv, slippers etc. You will feel real hospitality here and I am sure that, Thomas (the owner) will do everything for you. Also, before going out for anything, restaurants, bars, boat trips, etc. etc. whatever you are looking for, ask Thomas them, you won't regret. Now we are looking forward to our next visit to this excellent hotel and beautiful island. No more pandemic please :)
Silver Beach

This has to be the best value hotel on Patmos. Staying in this hotel gives you the use of all the facilities of the luxury hotel Patmos Atkis next door. The rooms in Silver beach hotel are very clean and simple with balconies. The shower facilities are typically Greek with a hand-held shower head. However my room had a room safe ( not in my sisters room, next door). All rooms have a minibar fridge which is empty “for Covid reasons”. My room had a hair dryer although I think that had been left in by accident. We had garden view rather than sea view. All rooms have air-conditioning. The best thing is the use of Patmos Atkis a really nice hotel. You have the most fabulous breakfast here. Beach beds should be €10 extra per day for two, but when I went to pay they said they were complementary that week as the hotel was not full. Also you can use the swimming pool which is an incredible 50metre pool. Virtually no one uses the pool so it is brilliant if you are a swimmer. The bay is lovely and both hotels are right on the beach at Grikos Bay. The biggest negative about Grikos is that there is no convenience store. So nowhere to buy even a bottle of water or an ice cream or some beer/wine. There are a few tavernas which all seemed quite good. There are some local walks and a bus service to other parts of the island. Come here for a lazy beach holiday or to swim!

We booked for 2 nights. Ok it is covid time and September but we got an amazing place, awesome owner, right in the city center and a charming wonderful 200 years old house!! Can't say much more... Try it. 100‰ sure you will love it as much as we did. Thank you Dimitris
Kantouni Beach Boutique Hotel

Arriving at this hotel was paradise after the horrendous start we had to our holiday (missed our flight) It is directly onto the beach, however unfortunately it wasn’t as pristine as it could of been due to the storms and high winds that brought all the sea**** onto the beach. Couldn’t be helped. The hotel pool (if a little chilly) was fab, cooling off on the side looking out to sea, what more do you need. The hotel breakfasts were a typical selection, omelettes, Greek bacon, scrambled eggs. Fruit, nuts, cold meats, a large selection of cakes and breads. The hotel staff are a credit to this hotel to name a couple Melina, Anna and Eirini? the pool guy (didn’t get his name)who sorted fresh towels and water every day. And the evening bar man who makes a mean lumumba!! The couple of issues we had in the room were sorted within 15 minutes of reporting them. We were so well looked after by every member of staff. The sun beds and the beds in the room are probably the most comfortable I have ever experienced on holiday. I like the idea of deciding when you want clean towels and bedding, you don’t need them every day tbf. Even the pool towels we often took them back to the room to use in the jacuzzi. There’s not a lot outside of the hotel due to it being early season so we would maybe go a bit later next time, yes there will be a next time this place is an amazing small gem of a hotel with fantastic staff!!! Thank you everybody!!
