Klai Kang Won Palace the place is under a vast refurbishment but still worth a visit, entry fee was 60 Tbt which goes along with various donation boxes dotted around the place towards the upkeep, when we visited we were told that you cannot go upstairs as this is still being renovated , you can however take a while and stroll around the grounds, there is a gift shop and small tea room at the end of the tour, also there are various attractions relating to the history of the palace. on comping out of the palace there are several bars, shops and restaurants, not fine dining but a traditional place to eat.one tip arrange your transport before you go as we did and had a 8km walk back to our hotel but hey it was a nice day!!

Emperor Rama VII built summer villas for himself and his queen in Huaxin, and later became a resort for successive emperors. The palace was built in 1926 and completed in 1933. The palace is based on Spanish architecture to match Huaxin's tropical climate. There are three big dormitories in the palace: Tamnak Plukkasem in the north and Tamnak Noi in the south. The largest Phra Tamank is between the two dormitories. The followers of the royal nobles sleep in small bungalows. It closes on Wednesday.

About three weeks ago, when I went there, I was still decorating. It was a good whole. There were many exhibits and some historical stories. The price was not expensive. I could still visit them when I had time. It was estimated that the decoration would be better after the decoration.
