On holidays and weekends, all the buildings are lit up, creating a vibrant spectacle, but it can be quite crowded. Late Night: After the lights are turned off, the Bund becomes tranquil, perfect for couples to stroll and listen to the sounds of the Huangpu River and ship horns. What a meaningful and creative New Year's Day themed event! Multiple pavilions collaborated, giving you ample time to enjoy the activities, which included a fun quiz with answers! The activities were varied, engaging, and entertaining! After the countdown, the pavilions even prepared New Year's gifts for everyone! How thoughtful! A truly memorable event!

Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower

The world-famous Oriental Pearl Tower's three spheres offer good value for money. There's no queue at the entrance; there's a direct passage to the elevator. The top sphere is a science and technology exhibition with a space-themed feel, but it's optional. The main attractions are the night view and the impressive science film about Shanghai's future development. The Shanghai history exhibition on the first floor is highly recommended for children. It's a very large and lifelike exhibition with a strong sense of participation. They also show the story of Sanmao the Vagabond. This exhibition is a must-see!

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park

A day trip to Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park is packed with experiences! Five themed zones connect the polar regions and the deep sea. The orca science show is breathtaking, the beluga whale romance is heartwarming, and the 360° penguin exhibit and seven-degree tilted tank offer a truly immersive atmosphere. The Time-Traveling Cable Car offers panoramic views of the entire park, the dolphin roller coaster is thrilling, and the mecha parade is eye-catching. The only downsides are the relatively expensive food options and the ban on bringing outside food, as well as long queues for popular attractions. Overall, it's suitable for families and photography enthusiasts; with careful route planning, you can have a truly enjoyable experience!

Yu Garden (Yuyuan Garden) is a beautiful pocket of calm in the middle of Shanghai’s urban rush. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, the garden blends classical Chinese landscaping with winding paths, rockeries, koi ponds, and elegant pavilions that feel like stepping into another era. Every corner seems carefully designed, with framed views and symbolic details that reward slow exploration. While the surrounding bazaar can be busy and touristy, the garden itself offers a peaceful, cultural escape and is well worth the visit for anyone wanting a glimpse of traditional Chinese aesthetics in modern Shanghai.

The Shanghai Tower is the pride of Shanghai and the pride of its people. Although it was drizzling that morning (snowflakes even fell at a height of 632 meters), the concert at the 126th damping level was still very impressive. After all, people don't usually come here, let alone on the first day of the new year!

Shanghai Wild Animal Park

A highly recommended place to visit. I thought the Shanghai Wild Animal Park wouldn't be fun in winter, but it was surprisingly enjoyable and entertaining. The animals were all very energetic. The international circus was especially spectacular. A great value for money destination.

Recommended Activities: During the Christmas and New Year holidays, Disney Town offers a stamp collection activity where you can exchange stamps for badges. It's quite fun and suitable for children or groups of friends. Disney Town also boasts comprehensive facilities, numerous shops, and plenty of restaurants to enjoy after a day of fun. You could easily spend a whole day here. Location: Located right next to Disneyland.

Shanghai Ocean Aquarium

Great for people who like seeing and learning about fish. The shark exhibit was the best but small areas can be annoying if very crowded

Shanghai Astronomy Museum

A Half-Day Trip to the Shanghai Astronomy Museum We took the high-speed train to Shanghai over the weekend to see the musical *Les Misérables*, and the next morning we took the kids to the Shanghai Astronomy Museum. The museum is huge, touted as the largest in China, with multiple floors and themed exhibition halls. The exhibits are quite comprehensive, covering everything from Earth and the birth of the universe to the Big Bang, space exploration, the Yutu rover, and the Zhurong spacecraft, all with life-size models. For teaching kids about astronomy, I highly recommend buying a 90-minute guided tour. It's led by museum professionals, very engaging and easy to understand, which my second-grade child loved. Otherwise, it's just a rushed, superficial experience. After the museum, you can visit Dishui Lake. There's a Western restaurant called Yifu by the lake. I recommend their beer and truffle fried rice. The beer was delicious, and the truffle fried rice was incredibly fragrant and tasty. It's on the pricier side, around 200-300 RMB per person.

Food is delicious and there are so many courses its worth the value and experience.. session is engaging such as u are task to do something on your table and service is really good. its worth to visit and also i would definitely 100% recommend friends to go.
