The heavy rainfall, combined with high tides, resulted in the water levels at several bridges along the line being above the level which allows for trains to run safely. Investigations took place once the water levels receded and the results of the investigations have confirmed some damage that will require repair work. This will need to be carried out before the line can be reopened and trains are able to run again. No trains will operate between Liskeard and Looe. Rail replacement transport will run as stated below. Currently, trains are not expected to run on this route until the end of the day on Monday 9 February. Please note there is no Sunday service on this route. Customer advice: Replacement minibuses will operate at train departure times from Liskeard and Looe. The designated stops for the replacement road transport are as follows: Liskeard - at the front of the station. Sandplace - bus stops by the station entrance. Looe - at the front of the station. If you are travelling to / from St Keyne Wishing Well Halt or Causeland please call Great Western Railway customer services on 0345 700 0125, or use the station help point for taxis to be arranged.

This has closed all lines running between these stations. This means that trains are unable to operate, and will be cancelled or revised. Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day on Saturday 7 February. Customer advice: The flood water still has not yet receded between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton / Barnstaple, and much of the surrounding area is under water. Great Western Railway are running a limited hourly return coach service between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple. A limited hourly coach service is also running between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton. This service will consist of a full sized coach and has limited seats. Please consider whether your journey is necessary before setting off. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled or revised. Disruption is expected until 11:00. Customer advice: If you are travelling with Southern today, please check your train before you travel, as you may need to allow extra time for your journey or board a different train than planned. They expect disruption to their services until at least 11:00 this morning. The following trains are cancelled this morning: The 05:31 Uckfield to London Bridge service: A replacement bus will run from Uckfield to Oxted, from where alternative services towards London are available. The 07:03 Uckfield to London Bridge service: Please travel on the next train, which will run 30 minutes later at 07:33. The 05:03 and 05:53 Clapham Junction to Watford Junction services: You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London North Western Railway, London Overground, London Buses and London Underground services. More details on the routes you can use your ticket on are listed below. Some Watford Junction services will start at London Victoria. You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Northwestern Railway between Watford Junction and London Euston, and on London Underground services between London Euston and London Victoria, where you can join Southern services to your destination. Further service changes are expected and will be advertised as soon as they are confirmed. Please check carefully before you travel, as your planned train may be altered or cancelled at short notice. Due to stock displacement, some trains may be formed of fewer coaches than normal. This means some services may be busier than usual, and you may wish to keep this in mind when planning your journey this morning. You can use your Southern ticket, at no extra cost, on the following alternative operators: Alternative Southern services towards your destination. London Northwestern Railway between London Euston and Watford Junction. London Underground between London terminals. London Buses on routes towards your destination. If you were unable to complete your journey on Southern services yesterday (4 February) due to disruption, you may use your unused Southern ticket on alternative Southern services today (5 February) at no extra cost. Can you tell me more? Yesterday, there was a derailment of a train that wasn’t in passenger service at Selhurst depot. This meant that multiple trains are unable to leave the depot. As a result, services are cancelled or altered. The derailment also did some damage to the signalling equipment, which has meant that for safety reasons, one of the lines towards London Bridge will remain closed until this equipment has been fixed. The train has been re-railed, and repairs to the track have taken place overnight.
