This time, I brought my whole family back to Mount Emei to challenge the longest hiking route: Baoguo Temple - Xianfeng Temple - Leidongping - Golden Summit. The total duration was eighteen hours, covering a distance of 60 kilometers. Although it was a pity that we didn't see the sea of ​​clouds again, I gained immense satisfaction: my twelve-year-old daughter, despite altitude sickness, followed me every step of the way until we reached the summit, which far exceeded my expectations and made this trip to Mount Emei worthwhile. Finally, I want to mention two things. First, the ferocity of the monkeys on Mount Emei far exceeds what most people imagine. The reason I was able to photograph these few is because I only dared to photograph these few. I didn't have time or dare to take out my phone to photograph the more ferocious ones; I could only hold them off with a stick while urging my family to hurry up. Secondly, the biggest difference from twenty years ago is that now most of the temples on the mountain offer accommodation. We stayed at Xianfeng Temple this time, and the conditions were quite good.
