Absolutely lived this place. All the staff were great! The hotel itself is perfect for family getaway. Very peaceful and amazing beaches that they have got here. Will definitely come back for another getaway here.

Hi Peridot Team, I recently stayed at Peridot for 2 nights with my family and have just checked out today. Let me start with the positives. The island itself is beautiful, the scenery is stunning, and the room and resort facilities are generally good. The resort certainly has great potential. Unfortunately, the service experience was extremely disappointing and significantly affected our holiday. The biggest issue was that many staff members appeared under-trained and unable to properly handle guest requests. Throughout our stay, problems occurred repeatedly across different departments. Some examples: • The breakfast menu was exactly the same on both mornings. • Hot tea at breakfast was always lukewarm because it was not kept properly warm. • Cornflakes and milk were placed in very small containers, requiring constant refilling. • Staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, resulting in slow and inconsistent service. • One evening, we ordered fries and drinks at the restaurant. The drinks arrived, but after waiting 30 minutes, we discovered the fries order had never been processed. We cancelled the order and ended up giving our child instant noodles instead. • During a rainy evening, we requested buggy transportation and were told the service stopped at 6 PM. The resort could only provide one umbrella and had no additional umbrellas available. • Housekeeping failed to replenish bathroom amenities. After requesting body wash in the afternoon, nothing arrived. Later we were told housekeeping had already closed for the day. • The following morning, toiletries were delivered only after another phone call. First body wash arrived, then shampoo after a second call, but conditioner never came. It was surprising that a complete set was not provided from the start. • The most frustrating experience happened during checkout. We had informed the front desk upon arrival that we would take the 11 AM boat on departure day and were told payment could be made on the day itself. However, when we arrived at the jetty, no seat had been arranged for us. After returning to the resort, we were told the booking had not been made because payment was not received earlier, and we were asked to find available seats ourselves. I understand that occasional mistakes happen in any hotel. However, the number of service failures during just a 2-night stay was simply too much for a resort that promotes itself as a 4-star property. This is genuine feedback from a disappointed guest. I hope the management team takes it seriously and invests more effort in staff training, communication, and service standards. Guests come to Redang to relax and enjoy their holiday, not to spend their vacation repeatedly chasing basic services. I sincerely hope future guests will have a better experience than we did.

Overall, my stay was pleasant. The room was comfortable and the amenities provided were good and convenient. The location was nice and suitable for my trip. The service was average, but the staff were generally helpful. Thank you for the hospitality.”

Наш выбор Coral View Island Resort основывался не на изучении негативной информации в описании объекта, а на просмотре видеороликов в интернете. И наши ожидания совпали с реальностью. Coral View предлагает несколько вариантов размещения на любой вкус и кошелёк. Мы не стали мелочиться и выбрали шале с видом на море на первой линии. И не прогадали. Живем один раз - нужно себя радовать. Общее впечатление о комплексе положительное. Территория огромная, ухоженная. Много зелени и живности. Много воды, и ее испльзуют с умом - глаза радуют искуственные водопады и фонтанчики в самых неожиданных местах. Персонал своеобразный, кажется несколько отстраненным от отдыхающих, но делает свое дело хорошо. Мы приехали с материка утром, около 11 часов, нас сразу же заселили без каких-либо вопросов. Уборку и замену полотенец производили ежедневно. Каждый день в номере появлялась питьевая вода в бутылочках и умывальные принадлежности. Напоминать и что-то просить не пришлось ни разу. Собственный пляж этого комплекса, также как соседних с ним The Barat и Mamas, не пригоден для купания, поэтому мы ходили на шикарный пляж PIR - он расположен в трех минутах ходьбы и к нему ведет удобный переход. Ресторан комплекса нас не впечатлил. Сложилось впечатление, что он для владельца носит побочную функцию - небольшой выбор блюд не способствует привлечению клиентов. Хотя один раз мы ужинали в зоне барбекю и нам приготовили неплохие блюда из морепродуктов. Завтраками мы также не воспользовались. Обедали и ужинали в ресторане The Barat, утренний кофе пили там же - несколько дороже, но богатый выбор блюд и расторопность персонала играют свою роль. Средний чек на одного в ресторане The Barat составляет 60 MYR, оплатить можно картой, в том числе Union Pay. Варианты времяпровождения на острове сводятся к купанию, морским и пешим прогулкам и дайвингу. Последним мы не воспользовались. Водная прогулка оказалась замечательной. Особено плавание рядом с черепахами и коралловыми рыбами. Для пешего похода есть хорошо обустроенная тропа в дальнем конце PIR. Она выходит на противоположную часть острова. Время в пути около 40 минут. Прйити смогут даже дети, но необходимо средство от комаров. Также для детей есть отличный водный комплекс, и для всех желающих - большой бассейн. Теперь о нюансах. Куда же без них. Водоснабжение объекта, в том числе и бассейнов, производится хлорированной пресной водой. А вот с водоотведением ситуация непонятная: стоки куда-то текут и дают знать о себе зарактерным запахом, особенно когда нет ветра. Это мы заметили не только на этом комплексе, но и на всех соседних. Электроснабжение от дизелей, они где-то в лесу, но их слышно. Было несколько отключений, но буквально полминуты. Кондиционер в доме - необходимость, но как мы выяснили, его никто не обслуживает и он работал плохо. Сетки внутреннего блока были забиты пылью и мы сами их промыли - стало лучше. В доме вечером появляются маленькие летающие насекомые типа мелких мотыльков, они летят на свет и от них помогает фумигатор. Еще под потолком бегают геккончики и ночью забавно стрекочут - не пугайтесь. Москитов в нашем доме не было. На территории много живности, но вся она безобидная: вараны ленивые, обезьяны пугливые, летающие лисицы летают только ночью, одни только белки ручные и наглые. Бассейн включают утром и выключают вечером. Сушить мокрые вещи, купальники и т.п. помогал вентилятор. Есть переставная вешалка. Для хранения ценностей имеется сейф. Ключ выдают один. Сдача номера без осмотра и ожидания - принесли на ресепшен и всё.

We initially had a frustrating experience as our towels were delivered quite late. However, the situation was handled professionally by Manager Iza, who personally delivered the towels to our room and sincerely apologized for the delay. Her prompt action and attention to guests made a positive difference. Overall, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We booked four rooms and requested them to be located near each other, which the hotel successfully accommodated. However, housekeeping services need improvement, as one of our rooms was not serviced and there were some inconsistencies in room maintenance during our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. It is close to everything we needed, with Restoran Singgang Budu located right beside the hotel. There are also laundry facilities nearby, and plenty of food options within walking distance, making it a great choice for travelers. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and genuinely tried their best to accommodate our requests throughout our stay. While housekeeping could be improved, the service recovery by the management team and the hotel’s strategic location made our overall stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Langit Duyong Hotel, Terengganu for 2 nights. First of all, I would like to say that the ambience, location, and overall scenery were truly beautiful. The view was one of the main highlights of my stay. The peaceful waterfront setting and natural surroundings created a relaxing atmosphere, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property has great potential and offers a unique experience compared to typical hotels. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by several issues. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. Upon check-in, the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and I had to contact housekeeping to perform a second round of cleaning. While the housekeeping team responded, guests should not have to request additional cleaning upon arrival. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any accommodation. Another concern was the maintenance of the surrounding area. The grass around the property was quite long and appeared untrimmed. As a guest, this raised concerns about the possibility of snakes, insects, or other animals entering the vicinity of the rooms. Regular landscaping and maintenance would greatly improve both safety and the overall appearance of the property. The most frustrating issue, however, was the ongoing renovation work at the neighbouring unit/building. There was significant construction noise starting early in the morning during both days of my stay. What made this more disappointing was that guests were not informed beforehand about the renovation activities. Had I known in advance, I could have managed my expectations or made a different booking decision. Transparency regarding major renovation works is important, especially for guests who choose this property expecting a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view, strategic location, and unique atmosphere of the hotel. However, the cleanliness issues, lack of landscape maintenance, and unannounced renovation noise greatly affected the experience. I left feeling both impressed by the property’s potential and disappointed by the management’s attention to guest comfort. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously, as with better maintenance, communication, and housekeeping standards, this could be a truly exceptional place to stay in Terengganu.

Things i enjoyed: Clean beach, large pools with playgrounds, friendly staffs. Pools have lifeguards on duty. Huge lobby. Kids fun club is okay. Just that the inflatable playground wasn't very sturdy. Cons: Lack of activities, hallway a big dark at night. One of thhings i wished to do here is atv ride and get a spa massage. But the atv is no longer available. The spas are no longer open. A bit sad. The place have a lot of potential. Went to turtoise information center but no one there. A security staff told us to go to reception for more info but just didn't have enough time to. The place is huge. Food is a bit pricey but i guess its okay for 4 or 5 stars hotel. Just that the taste is average.

I would like to sincerely thank you for the wonderful hospitality, friendliness, and helpful service throughout my wife’s and my stay at Tanjong Jara Resort. From the smooth check-in until check-out, every moment made our stay truly enjoyable, memorable, and relaxing. We had a very happy experience at the resort and would highly recommend Tanjong Jara Resort to our family and friends. It is definitely one of the best resort choices in Terengganu. Special thanks and appreciation to Ai Li, Umah, Haziq, Ruzly, Angel, Amira, Athir, Yusri, Yanna, Khairi, and Aidil for their excellent service, warm hospitality, and dedication in making our stay so pleasant.
