We booked a room for an assistance dog and we're put on the second floor right beside the lift so was very noisy which upset the dog causing him to bark a lot . Also not ideal on 2nd floor with a disability taking the dog out for a wee every few hours . 😡
We have stayed here several times and fed back to managers about the poor state of the tables & chairs in the breakfast area. Although my feedback (with photos) was not acknowledged, on our last visit just before xmas, we noticed the badly stained and chipped tables had been replaced or refurbished, and the badly stained and dirty seating had been cleaned and/or replaced, so that it now feels comfortable to sit on them. So I'm pleased my feedback may have contributed to these much needed changes.
However the window frames in our room were in a terrible state, covered in black mould and in desperate need of repair or replacement. Not a healthy presence to have anywhere. So hopefully this review will be seen by the right person/people and acted upon.
Arrived late at night. Painless check in. Pleased to see that the bar was open until 2am.
Room itself was clean but the decor in the hallways and the carpets are tired and stained.
Hot breakfast was luke warm at best despite seeing a member of staff testing the food temperatures. The hot food trays might have been well over 62 degrees but the sausages and bacon in them weren't very hot. I do appreciate that it's difficult to keep dry hotplate food hot. Perhaps it's time to step out of the 70's and actually cook the breakfasts to order?
Still a step up from the standard Premier Inn / Travelodge rooms.
MMallu Couple TravellersI recently had the opportunity to stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham Tewkesbury Strensham, and overall, my experience was quite satisfactory.
Firstly, the location of the hotel is convenient, situated just off the M5 motorway, making it easily accessible for travelers. The proximity to major routes makes it a practical choice for those on a road trip or needing a stopover.
Upon arrival, I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. They efficiently checked me in and provided all necessary information about the hotel facilities and local amenities.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained, albeit slightly basic in terms of decor. However, it had all the essential amenities one would expect, including a comfortable bed, TV, coffee-making facilities, and a clean bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout my stay, which was a plus for staying connected.
One aspect that stood out was the breakfast offered at the hotel. Although it was a simple continental spread, the options were sufficient to start the day, and the quality of the food was decent.
While the hotel doesn't offer extensive facilities like a gym or swimming pool, it serves its purpose as a convenient stopover for travelers looking for a comfortable night's rest without unnecessary frills.
In terms of value for money, I found the pricing to be reasonable considering the convenience and comfort provided by the hotel.
In conclusion, I would recommend Days Inn by Wyndham Tewkesbury Strensham to travelers seeking a no-fuss accommodation option with easy access to major routes and a pleasant overall experience.

ผผู้เข้าพักGreat location and value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. They gave us the apartment for no charge as it was unused as zi am disabled. Only downside was needed more milk for my tea in room but husband said well it is a pub. The rolling river was a great view out the window and field out the back with camper vans and picking tables. Felt very comfortable with the place

ผผู้เข้าพักA beautiful location with stunning views. The hotel interior was a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary. Our room was right at the top of the building and, although very small, it was well designed and very clean. The service was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to help you. We had dinner in the bar, which was tasty and arrived quickly and hot! All in all, The Cottage in the Woods is a perfect place for a quiet break with a little luxury. We will definitely be returning.
ผผู้เข้าพักBit dated but regards to staff and stay couldn’t complain about anything slept well and staff were very friendly and accommodating would defo stay again.
