Excellent location, beautiful castle and convenient for hosting a group of 6. We had our own area so no need to be forced into the common area. Beds were good, but the rooms are a bit noisy when there are other guests in the adjacent room. We were lucky that we were able to join the ****** dinner theater show that was planned the first night, that was a lot of fun. There was also a wedding party in the basement the second night. Sound wise not too much of an issue with the music, but the guests were smoking and talking in front of the bedrooms until very late. Not a huge problem, but it would have been better if the hotel made sure the wedding guests were standing on the other side of the courtyard as now it was like they were standing inside the room. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast excellent. An ideal location for a short trip. Highly recommended.

Really good price for a hotel 100m from train station. Short walk into town with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. We were there for the Mainz v Stuttgart football match and it was perfect. Bus stop meters away so super convenient. Good sized room, comfortable beds, very clean and functional bathroom. Plenty of hot water and nice shower. Very easy to access just off main route from Autobahn. Will certainly use again next time we visit Mainz

Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, immer ansprechbar. Das Frühstück - super. Parkplatz - für mich sehr wichtig - ganz viele Plätze verfügbar. Gerade aus den oberen Etagen - super Ausblick. Gibt es bessere Hotels? Ja. Zu Zeiten von Konzerten in der Gegend bezahlbar? Wahrscheinlich nicht. Wer ein Luxushotel sucht ist hier falsch. Wer ein funktionelles Hotel sucht - perfekt. Ich befürchte- sollte hier richtig renoviert werden- kann ich es mir nicht mehr leisten. Hier steckt ganz viel Potpdrin, bei dem ich nicht weiß ob ich möchte das es vollumfänglich erkannt wird.
