Inside the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, there are three old villas: the Museum of Oriental Musical Instruments (Meiyu Building), Music Castle, and City Music Lounge, but it's really hard to book them all together. Last time, I already visited the Museum of Oriental Musical Instruments. This time, I managed to book the Music Castle (former site of the Belgian Consulate), which has a very strong Baroque architectural style. It has 3 floors in total, but currently only the 1st floor is open to the public, featuring an intangible cultural heritage exhibition. About 20 minutes is enough for a visit. After the visit, you can go around to the back for photos (as on the cover).
