It appears efficiency is a key at this hotel. Requests were actioned very promptly. Cleaning staff did a nice job. Room was a good size and mostly in good condition. Plenty of stains on the carpet in the room though, and the room entry door frame was partly torn away from the wall.
Service was very good, though it was four days before any staff so much as smiled. Efficiency but not much in the way of warmth towards guests.
While some rooms are non-smoking, most of the hotel seems fair game for smoking including halls, washrooms, elevators, etc. Cigarette butts to be found and smell throughout.
Apparently the hotel must be very pet friendly given the dog that was brought into the restaurant at breakfast.
Acceptable all around, but not sure I would opt for this hotel again.
