A wonderful stay from start to finish! The staff were so accommodating and helpful, especially Mia, who was ready and willing to provide information, answer our many questions about the park, and make us feel welcome. The afternoon tea and welcome fruit were much appreciated. Though it was too cold to use the pool, I could see how it would be a paradise in the summer. The crackling fireplace and friendly golden retriever were unexpected bonuses that filled our evenings with joy.

Fantastic service! Drew a map for me to understand the route for the forest and offered to drive me to the South gate. Room was gorgeous with a lovely view though it was raining during my stay. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly - especially the dog!

This is my first time visiting china and I already went through three cities. Beijing/Zhangjiajie/Shanghai. But, while the others hotel were top of the top. Avatar hilltop definitely has a special place. I really loved the hotel. It’s a few minutes walk from the first bus stop of avatar mountain senic. From the moment I landed, someone was already there to receive me and at the hotel Will helped set up the entire route I would take. Telling me where I should walk and where I should take the bus etc. They also bought all necessary tickets for me so I just had to go with my passport. On the second day, Mia was the one who drew the map for me. This time to Canyon bridge. She also helped me receive some stuff I ordered from Beijing airport. All in all, everyone at the hotel was really friendly and warm and helpful. I even asked Will about some snacks and he gave me the localization immediately. If I ever visit Zhangjiajie again, I am definitely choosing this hotel.

An exceptionally satisfying experience—the stay was very comfortable, and the hotel dining was excellent. This Chinese young man was fantastic and gave us so many great suggestions!

An amazing hotel with an exceptionally convenient location. You can literally walk to the entrance of the main park, and the hotel also provides bicycles, which makes it perfect for a scenic ride along the bike paths. The rooms are spacious, fresh, and very well maintained. Orthopedic pillows, a huge comfortable bed, and a bathtub with a mountain view. Everything you might need is provided, plus a lovely complimentary fruit platter. The breakfast is excellent, and it’s great that you can choose dishes from the menu. However, it would be nice to have photos to better understand the portion sizes and the dishes themselves. I would also like to give special thanks to a staff member named Will. He is incredibly kind and attentive, helped us with all our questions, and even created a perfect itinerary tailored to our preferences. Thank you for such genuine care and attention to guests — thanks to him, we were truly sad to leave so soon 🫶🏻

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. From check‑in to check‑out, every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially Will, who was exceptionally helpful and professional. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. Our room was impressively spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and we would happily return.

We were visiting China for the very first time, and this hotel made our trip truly memorable. Its location was perfect—just a short walk from the famous “Avatar” park—allowing us to explore the area with ease. The hotel felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with clean, comfortable rooms that made it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. A special thank-you goes to Mia, whose kindness and professionalism truly made my stay exceptional. She was always ready to help with a smile and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. And of course, I can’t forget Toni, the amazing hotel dog! Toni brought so much joy and positive energy—such a friendly, charming presence that made each day even brighter. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

AMAZING. Will and the team helped us plan everything. The staff (and don’t forget the dog) go beyond to help. Do recommend! It’s near the entry of the park, you want this. And the views are amazing!

Fantastic stay with great service. Nick looked after us upon our arrival until our departure. He made great suggestions for our daily itinerary and explained the routes so well. He also organised for our entry tickets for both tianmen mountain and the mational forest park. Everything ran with total ease and enjoyment. Nick was always on hand for suggestions takign into account the weather conditions. An amazing stay and it was a super enjoyable trip mostly due to Nick helping us to make great use of our time. Definitely the place to stay and hope to visit again very soon.

We stayed at this hotel in Zhangjiajie and were absolutely delighted with our experience! The views are truly breathtaking — it feels like being inside a fairy tale, with stunning mountains, mist, and magestic nature right outside the window. We would especially like to highlight the excellent service. The staff are incredibly attentive and always ready to help, making our stay very comfortable. A special thanks to Will — he went above and beyond to assist us, answered all our questions, and was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The hotel also provided a transfer service, which made getting around much easier for us. As a lovely bonus, we were given magnets as a gift — a small but very thoughtful gesture that left us with warm memories. Overall, this is a place we would love to return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy beautiful nature, comfort, and outstanding service!

Hotel was amazing and service even better. Big thanks to all the staff members who helped us, but especially Nick who helped from the booking to the check out. Even helped drive us and pick us up from the national park gate when it was raining. Thanks again and highly recommended.

The manager, Will, provided excellent service, communicating well before and during the trip. He speaks excellent English and was very helpful by booking tickets and arranging transport for us. I would stay there again if I go back to that area.
