Oscar Hotel

Such a beautiful friendly place to stay! The pool was beautiful and always a sun lounger at anytime of the day! Rooms cleaned everyday. Breakfast was tasty and something there for all tastes also the pool snack bar food and drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. If you don't want to be to close to all the chaos on the ***** and want to relax this is the perfect place! The shuttle bus is a great touch to save the walk in the heat and taxis to the beach are €10 Helpful tip.. A 5 minute walk opposite the hotel down the road is a bus stop outside the supermarket and buses go to Zante town every hour for €1.60 each and takes about 15 mins zante town is beautiful and a must if you want to explore a little. A shout out to Demi at the bar a lovely helpful sweet girl ❤ all staff are great too! Hope to see you again.

Some charva done an upper decker in the toilet, hanging… room stank of monster munch, no one pulled not cause we are hanging. Some charva farted at breakfast echoed round the gaff put me off me sausages like. Wifi is dire can’t even load tinder to get me some birds like Corey is full of beans ready to go, would 100% recommend if ur a pillow biter

We were in room 103 which was very dated and needed a complete modernisation. The sheets were clean as were the towels and changed every other day. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the pool area was excellent. The only beef we had was the room and had we been staying longer than a week I would have wanted to change. It's hard to shower holding on to the shower head as there is nowhere to put it up high. The free mini bus is very handy as it's a good 30 mins walk to the beach. Would we come back Yes if we had a better room and a half decent kitchen. Lovely staff though

What a holiday!! Me and my Husband stayed for our 1 year wedding anniversary, we booked the Oscar because it was cheap and perfect for August. I made the mistake of not looking at the reviews before booking but im glad I didn't otherwise we wouldn't have booked. I was very anxious to go due to reading some bad reviews however we LOVED the hotel. I see so many bad reviews for the Oscar hotel however for us it was Perfect! Amazing staff, breakfast was great, would have loved some hash browns but otherwise nothing to fault. The rooms were clean, strange we didn't have a plug for our bath but that didn't bother us. The bar music does go on until midnight however we were in bed by 10pm every night and it never woke us so. This hotel is around 30 minute walk to the beach but we love walking so didn't mind in, even in the heat! The bar food was great too, the toasties are to die for!! I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel if you don't mind the walk down to the beach (although the hotel does provide a transfer) and you don't mind abit a noise at night! We landed home yesterday 6.9.23 and are already planning to return to this hotel in May/June next year and we cant wait! Also shout out to the reception staff, i never got the ladies name however she works the morning shift, she was so interested in our lives and what we did on our holiday, she also recommended things to do. Also shout out to the lovely lady in the bar, she is so attentive, lovely and just amazing!! Please ignore any bad reviews, we loved it here!!

The atmosphere around the pool and the distance from the ***** were the only good things about this location. Our bedding had mould on, and my friends tshirt also grew mould on there after one night of being on the floor. There were ants crawling literally everywhere, and the hotel was ridden with mosquitos- we have pictjre proof.The amount of bites we all had was unbearable and the salt water shower did not help whatsoever- I wish we knew this before we booked. Breakfast was not edible in the slightest. The pool bar ladies were lovely, but communication between staff was very poor. The night time receptionist had no idea what he was doing and flapped under pressure. One of the nights when our power broke, he left us without power all night as he had no clue what to do, and also when we went to collect our passport he was unhelpful as he had no idea where the keys were. I would not recommend or return to the hotel.

Wow, would defo go here again, staff A1 polite and always made you welcome, Angeliki lovely and helpuful (learnt a bit greek as well) free transfer to beach, pool had sun on it all day so warm enough to get in to, had 2 weeks and yeah we did give in to air con which is extra 8 euros a day, please dont forget its a little island trying to make a living, boat trip the the ship wreck is a must, so as for the hotel, yep 100%, booked already,

I’m here right now in Room 207 with my family. Yes it is a 30 minute walk from the beach but the hotel provides a free minibus during the day right down to the beach. The place is spotless and the staff are lovely. There’s a mini market right opposite as well as a lovely restaurant that gives 10% discount to Hotel Oscar residents. The breakfast is fine for English people and it does have young vibe about it, I’m 50 years old but I don’t feel out of place at all. And the pool is lovely as well. We’ve done all sorts of holidays over the years but mark this as one of our favourites already and we still have a week to go. All I can say from reading the bad reviews is that you can’t please everyone.

Wow! I’ve never been to such a terrible hotel. We stayed 2 hours and I’m so grateful we left. Dirty *******s around the pool. No wifi, balconies in both rooms weren’t allowed to be opened. As a group of young girls we felt very unsafe as one room was in some dodgy outbuilding despite us requesting to be next to each other. It was also 40 minute walk from beach it was advertised as much less. Horrendous! Avoid pls! Safe yourselves

The staff are so chill and got along with them all, the ***** isnt too much of a long walk away but they offer a free mini bus in the day and will book you taxes in evening. Would defo only recommend for younger people, the atmosphere was so good. They make really nice cocktails, (happy hour they do 4euros for a cocktail!!) the rooms are basic and aren’t the cleanest but not that bad as only need the room to shower and sleep and we were in a old section, the new sections they built are very nice ( our others friends were in those). Overall me and my friends enjoyed it very much there and would go back anytime again.
