I didn't appreciate being assigned a room that wasn't cleaned prior. Also, the fireplace didn't work. I contacted the front desk, maintenance came up and basically said it was beyond his ability to fix and someone else would be there the next day to fix it. I was there six days, never happened. Residence Inn is usually my go-to hotel, but service like this will make me look elsewhere. The rooms weren't cleaned the same daily. From person to person, they do what they want. No consistency. They were very apologetic and that's it. They never offered to make good on the errors. If booking through a third party makes guests seem not as important, then I'll think twice about that as well. These rooms cost too much to only get apologized to. Either handle your business or offer some type of credit.
