The view from the windows and balcony were excellent both during the day and at night.
The room was spacious, comfortable and provided benefits such as a washing machine, kitchen, two bathrooms, dining table and two TVs with an account set up to watch a wide variety of content.
Apart from all of this, something that really stood out for us staying here was the helpfulness, generosity and professionalism of the staff. Well worth the cost of staying here.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe could not say enough nice things about this hotel. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing 10 days which was just what was required after a busy semester at work. The two young ladies and one young man at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind (I only know two of their names, Xiao Luo and Xiao Xiang). They were not over bearing and in our faces ever. They were able to help us with every request we asked for when we wanted or needed something. Having a language barrier was never a problem and they were so attentive to our needs via wechat. They were prepared to help with a driver to any sightseeing you wanted to do. There’s great restaurants and things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel too. The cleaning staff were very pleasant from the lady around the pool to the lady cleaning our room. Breakfast had two options, noodles or rice congee, it was always served with a great number of side dishes, more than enough choice from cereal, eggs, bread, as well as milk, a number of freshly prepared vegetables. Due to the great breakfast we rarely ate lunch. You just didn’t need to. We rescued a dog while in Xishuangbanna which the reception staff were really helpful with some of the things we needed to do with the dog! We have stayed in many hotels around the world and Lying Cloud was definitely a highlight. Great location, clean and modern room with good amenities, wonderful front desk staff, clean and well maintained pool and outdoor area at a very, very reasonable price. This hotel came recommended to us via a colleague and we would highly recommend it to other foreigners and Chinese friends too!
HHuangAlthough Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining.
Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable.
Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat
Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that.
Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests.
Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. I really believe Hyatt management in Texas really should not take the risk of damaging their great brand by letting this hotel be branded with Hyatt's Name. The way this Xi Shuang Ban Na Urcove is operating, they are worse than locally managed/owned hotels.
尽管西双版纳景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店称他们是一家无烟酒店,但就我所见,事实并非如此。我建议对香烟过敏或对香烟烟雾有健康问题的人一定不能入住。我亲眼看到客人和酒店员工在这家酒店的大堂公开吸烟。前台工作人员和主管看到了这一幕,不但没有对违规者劝喻或警告,而当我对此提出投诉时,前台工作人员不答理我,还瞪了我一眼!!!

卧室:非常宽敞干净。床上用品和床单非常干净舒适。
厕所:非常新式,配有恒温马桶座
淋浴区:简直是一场灾难。分隔厕所和淋浴区的玻璃板安装不当,所以淋浴区的水到处漏水。这是非常危险的事,因为淋浴外的地板是一块光滑的地砖。我的妻子差点滑倒。我们当晚立即告诉前台,他们所做的只是派人擦干水而已。之后就没再跟进。
早餐:这是我住过最差的酒店。大部分早餐都是中餐,虽然我不吃中式早餐,但我也没有抱怨。最大的问题是,我们早上 9:15 之后去吃早餐,有很多空的食物容器和盘子,早餐盘很多是空的。早餐应该在 10:00 结束。9:15 已经没有羊角包,甚至连一片可以用来烤土司的面包都没有。我还检查了中餐食物,发现很多容器也被清空了。然后我去问工作人员,我可以在哪里找到一片面包。她的回答是,没有切片方包了,你看到的就只这些。没有其他的可以食!!!!我非常生气,重新要求几片切片面包。最后,厨房工作人员王先生给我们帮忙,他给我和我妻子每人煎了两个鸡蛋。王先生还从酒店外面帮我拿了切片面包,这样我和妻子至有点早餐可以食。第二天早餐时,早上 9:15 之后就没有咖啡了,因为咖啡机进行自动清洗,至少半个小时处于清洁模式。主厨最终帮我拿了一杯咖啡,但在我看来,这家酒店根本没有准备好接待国际旅客。
这次景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店入住经验非常差。完全不符合凯悦的标准。我真的认为凯悦管理层不应该冒险让这家酒店打上凯悦的名字,从而损害他们的品牌形象。这家 西双版纳景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店 的经营及管理模式,比当地管理/当地投资的酒店还远远不如。凯悦Hyatt 总公司真应该尽快管理好这家酒店免得影响Hyatt 品牌。
SStanley The Travel ManThe room was pretty clean. The cleaning lady replaced my towels on most days with one exception which was fine as there were other towels which I put in front of the shower. The garbage was emptied daily. The room is bright with light switches are available bedside. 306 has a bath tub in the living room. Who takes a bath in the living room ?
The pictures for that room needs to be improved with better description. Rooms with bath tub should be stated as such and room with sofa so the guests won’t get a room with a bath tub in the living room when they expect to have a sofa. Luckily for me that type of room was available.
I had room 307 which faces the back of the building and it wasn’t as noisy as the ones facing the street. Those rooms have the problem of hearing the drivers using their horns and by night music from the night market. With the windows close it isn’t bad.
One problem which can be improved is the receptionist. I checked in on Jan 12 and checked out Jan 15. There was this lady with glasses and another one on Jan 12 and then mostly I saw the one with glasses. She was there day and night. She wasn’t that helpful nor friendly . Every question was replied but rather unhappily it seemed. She didn’t behave like she likes her job. I even thought about leaving because of her. But on the last day, Jan 15 at 7:30 am when I checked out , a lady with surname Yi was working. She was an angel. She said breakfast is also ready, why don’t you stay and offered which I thought was very nice of her. She smiled a lot and told I felt she was very accommodating and helpful. She was trying to help in every respect and even waited with me a bit for my DiDi. I think she exemplifies good service.
I also like the tea as my parting gift.
I think that receptionist is an disappointment which isn’t a big problem with better training but other than her, everyone and everything were almost perfect.
