Amazing room and interior was very soothing. We were upgraded to the King suite and it was clean lines and huge.
Cheng Xia and her team went above and beyond and were in touch of our needs thru the day and into evening. We being vegetarians we had a bit tough time in general around food. Cheng and the folks from the kitchen made additional efforts in ensuring we were not left hungry.
Just a suggestion to bring in different part of cuisine as an option like Western atleast some pizza and pasta option for international folks.
Super happy with the service. Cheng as well came with us to see us off at the train station.

The homestay has a wide variety of room types, with a large room area. The designer's homestay features high-quality mattresses and room facilities, while the Quiet Wind design is simple yet not simple. The modern and luxurious lobby bar, as well as the wine and clear bar, are also available. There is also a restaurant that can provide you with a rich and delicious breakfast as well as local human fireworks flavored main meals. The homestay also provides a chess and card room, and during leisure time, you can also make an appointment to play chess and cards. The homestay space is independent, with lush greenery and a large outdoor garden on the opposite side.
The homestay concept aims to help you find the most beautiful place with a sense of design and belonging, free yourself from the constraints of urban pressure, feel the baptism of your soul, and enjoy a leisurely life for yourself.
Entering the room and leaning against the window, enjoying the misty mountain scenery, strolling in the courtyard, feeling serene and relaxed; Tour the garden for a spring outing, and enjoy the freedom and freedom of a hundred acres of flower sea. Sit down and enjoy the blooming flowers, sink down and be as quiet as the sea, settle down and observe the beauty and distance, time and emotions, enjoyment and freedom.
PPWe arrived in Wuyuan on April 3rd only to find out that the rapeseed flowers had already fallen. At first, we thought our trip had ended before it even started. Fortunately, a young lady at the hotel went out of her way to help us find a solution. Following her advice, instead of going to the popular Huangling village, we chose the northern route, where several villages on the hills, likely due to the cooler climate, still had the flowers in full bloom and the fields were vibrant with bright yellow. Had we not stayed here, we would have returned home disappointed.
Another impressive aspect was the food, which was delicious at every meal. Honestly, the Chinese food at other stops on our trip wasn't to our liking, but here it was exceptional. We didn’t even need to specify the menu items; the hotel simply asked what we could eat, such as chicken, pork, beef, etc., and then prepared various dishes accordingly. This approach is quite convenient, allowing us to enjoy great meals without any hassle.
YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
HhumblezThe hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning).
Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked.
The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through.
As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out!
If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.
NNadineisinshanghaiWe stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need.
The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee.
The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.
