Poor service was due to the team looking like they didn't want to be there, not interested in what we needed, lack of attention. They really let down the whole experience. We ate in the restaurant one night and while the food was delicious and hot, it was let down by the poor very slow service. Had to wait ages for drinks, the young server propped himself up on the post staring around the room while he took our order, we had to call him to get more drinks. I'm thankful we didn't ask for variations of the meal because I would have no confidence he'd relay it correctly. Other diners experienced the same slow to take and deliver orders as we did. Food reasonably priced. Had the vegetable tagine and husband had the Goan curry, both full of flavor and hot. Liked the British tapas options as appetizers. Eat elsewhere if service is important. Falcon steakhouse was brilliant. Stayed in room 9 but had booked room 8 but due to issues taking payment 7 days before arrival they had unreserved the room allowing it to be booked by another guest. Not impressed as I had called and received assurances my reservation was ok. Again, poor service. Room 9 was however, very nice, spacious with King bed. On the back of hotel so quiet. Despite the in room info book saying there wasn't wifi, there was but it took for me to ask at reception to be advised what the code was and even the original person had to go and ask someone Breakfast is pathetic, a very light continental as described. The service on all aspect was sub standard but dinner and room excellent
