Various rooms are currently under renovation so there's noise during the day, though it stopped at a reasonable hour during our stay. However this does leave the hallway a little messy.
Breakfast was nicer than expected and my kids really enjoyed it.
Our room looked newly renovated. The beds were comfortable with firm mattresses. The one critique I have for the actual room was the lighting. It was VERY dim. The bathroom and sink area had lights, but there were only a couple lamps right by the bed. They weren't very bright and the other corners of the room were pretty dark as a result.
The front desk staff was very helpful. I called ahead with a question and they were very friendly. Check-in was easy and the lady at the desk was personable.
I would stay here again if I needed a simple overnight. We got the room last minute since the winter storm trapped us in the area. For the price it was definitely worth it.

Front desk staff member Cassy was so informative of the area and had lots of tips and tricks. We had 2 toddlers and they loved the indoor pool, view of the creek and we always found a breakfast food they would eat. The Chula Vista water park was so much fun. We will be back!

They were doing remodeling, which I understand but u should not book rooms right next to it. Lucky we were to bed early and up by 8 as they were pounding and all sorts in the rooms next to us. All the furniture was in the hallway in the morning- Would have been nice to be a few rooms away or different floor. But staff was very pleasant, pool area nice and breakfast….

We only stayed one night but have no complaints. Our room was clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Building was clean and staff freindly. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel is clearly under renovation, which I did not know prior to arrival. My room was half finished. Waking up this morning to the sounds of hammers, drills, and people shouting just outside the door was not fun, after a mostly quiet weekend. Open the door to the hallway to leave after rushing to get ready to escapee the noise (sensory issues, not everyone can deal with sudden loud and repeated noises with no warning) - and there are mattresses blocking the walkway, rolls of carpet, power tools, empty cans and half eaten apples on the floor.

The service was good. Our room was clean but had minor repairs that needed to be completed. The bed was firm and we slept fine. The breakfast had a good selection and most of what I had was okay the eggs were hard and not edible.
