The only reason I didn’t give an excellent rating is because the communication could have been better. I had been reaching out to the hotel for weeks before my arrival and got a response asking for more information and then nothing. I even tried to contact them days before my trip and nothing. At one point the telephone wasn’t working and I tried multiple numbers from their website. Hopefully they improve in this area because everything else was excellent indeed. I’ll definitely come back.

What an amazing week! The resort is stunning, everything is maintained very well, the attention to detail really sets this resort apart from others I’ve been to. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and all worked so hard to make this a great experience. I can’t say enough nice things about our experience here. The food was great at every spot, the service was stellar and the night entertainment was great. In particular the steel pan band, trapeze artists and saxophonist were all on point! The fun crew by the pool really got the mood going and man can they dance! We will be back here for sure and excited to check out some of the other Excellence hotels as well. Definitely worth upgrading to the excellence club, top tier service and a few extra perks which was nice. Bravo and thanks to all the staff, you were all excellent!

This was our first time to Jamaica and our second time visiting and Excellence resort. I can’t begin to say enough about the entire staff here. They welcome you when you arrive by saying welcome home and it truly does feel like that. The food and service is out of this world. We stayed in a beach house, which was very very nice, we are already talking about our next trip here

This was by far the nicest property I’ve stayed in while in the Caribbean. The staff is super friendly and made the stay even more special.
Although I did not choose the excellence option, I still received excellent service and access to just about the entire property.
The rooms are very well appointed and always immaculate. I had an issue with my steam iron and had a new one delivered to my room within 5 minutes.
The food is excellent and I loved the fact that reservations were not needed. The Lobster House serves the most succulent lobster!!!!!
The property grounds are beautiful and the beach is breathtaking. I highly recommend The Excellence and would go back in a heartbeat.

Truly an Excellent Experience. Staff was more than accommodating. Everyone was so friendly. Food is like no other resort. Everything was fresh and delicious even room service. I’m planning my trip back already.
