We offer a 750sf open concept apartment which is modern, airy, and extremely clean above our detached garage. It is secluded but close to the main Parks Highway. Walls of windows provide spectacular sunrise, sunset or star viewing. On a clear night, look for the Aurora Borealis, our famed Northern Lights. We have a large parking area for a boat or trailer and live in the main house year around.We offer many of the amenities of home such as a full sized fully equipped kitchen, a workspace with WIFI and office chair, all linens for kitchen, bath, and bedroom, plenty of pillows and blankets, and some games and puzzles when you need to relax after a day of adventure. In addition, we provide dish soap, dishwasher tablets, liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your stay. We are 2 miles from the famed Hatcher Pass Road, gateway to Hatcher’s Pass with its snow machine trails, skiing, hiking, berry picking, hang gliding, and the historic Independence mine. Willow is the heart of dog mushing and Serenity Heights was an active kennel until Nov. 2019. Two dog kennels are in our neighborhood, with the Re-Start of the Iditarod 5 miles from our home. Serenity Heights Place was lost in the 2015 Sockeye wildfire and rebuilt in that same year with all the modern amenities.
