This is an older hotel that has been remodeled not fancy but functional. Room very clean, bed comfortable with easy parking in the back of building. There was only one channel on the TV to watch and only one outlet for charging.
An all around nice property in a very convenient location for a transient. The hotel is within a few minutes from I-70 and is surrounded by every possible shopping and restaurant choice one might need during a trip. Walmart is within walking distance while a whole host of shops, stores, and restaurants are within a few minutes of driving distance. The hotel itself is your typical well-maintained Hampton Inn with the usual breakfast fare. I don't know why one would want to go to Wheeling WV, but if one has to go there, then this Hampton Inn is where one should stay.
Simple , very clean, well managed budget hotel. The room and bathroom was very clean, smelled fresh. The staff was helpful and professional. You could tell they took good care of the place. They had a small swimming pool . I didn’t care about coffee makers or iron in the room . The breakfast was simple and finished earlier than advertised but that’s not a problem! For the price I paid, it was perfect!
I want to say this hot is very nice . I have been there within a few weeks from each with my family with my husband for a business trip. A few things tho needs to be updated, I had a broken toilet seat and a dishwasher that didn't work. All in all the rooms are clean and spacious. One downfall is tge hot tub there is not hot. It's very Luke warm . Not sure if they have it this way on purpose. Loraine I believe how she spells is wonderful. I have made so special requests that I needed for my family ,ans she was more than accommodating. Well return again
This was our second time to stay here, and, though a little quirky, I would highly recommend it for the budget conscious. Both times our rooms were clean and the bathroom well stocked. (We did not move the furniture around looking for debris) If you use a booking agency there will be a $55 deposit charged at check in. $50 is a damage deposit which, evidently is difficult for them to be reimbursed by booking agencies. $5 is a non-refundable transaction fee which brought our room to $68 for one night, $63 for the second night. The $50 was credited to our account within 2 days. We have stayed at the Hampton Inn in Wheeling multiple times and love it, but, for quick trips where we are only looking for a place to sleep, Super 8 is a bargain. Reading some of the earlier reviews makes me wonder if we are even staying at the same place or is some competitor trying to sabotage these fine people.
