We recently stayed here and had a bit of a mixed experience. Unfortunately, we ran into a few major issues: the tap water turned yellow at night (understood this was due to heavy rain and high usage), and there was literally an ant nest right behind the curtains. The overall cleanliness was disappointing, as we found lizard droppings in several areas, including the sofa and shelves. Also, some room features (like the shower setup) weren't very practical.
However, I want to give huge praise to the staff on duty that night. Their quick problem-solving and helpful attitude completely saved the night—without them, we definitely would have requested a hotel transfer to another hotel.
Aside from the issues, the room itself was comfortable (great bed!), and we thoroughly enjoyed the farm tour (staff is very nice) and the wonderful afternoon tea.
If it weren't for the cleanliness and water issues, it would have been a perfect stay. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve cleanliness and pest control.
