"Very beautiful hotel, breakfast was the best"

"Fabulous location near enough to the port to be walking distance, but far enough away for it to be peaceful. We had room 22 - family room with sitting area - and it was great! Lovely decor, comfy beds, small fridge with tea making facilities. Breakfast was out of this world - Swedes love their brekkie, however in 2 weeks of touring this was the most outstanding! Viggo made our stay even better by being super helpful and a mine of knowledge about local restaurants and places to visit. Thank you! Parking is available opposite for a small fee. 2 hours a day free."

"⚠️We didn't stay there!! It's our fault for not checking the details thoroughly before booking, but after booking, we received official information that "check-in is limited to those 25 years of age or older" and "each person must bring their own bath towel and bed sheet, or it will cost 100 kr," which was disappointing. For 100 kr, we could have bought a new set. Since we weren't planning on drinking alcohol and everyone was over 20, we asked if it was possible to check in as a 20-year-old instead of a 25-year-old, but we never received a response. We called multiple times with the help of several Swedish friends, but no one answered the phone, not even once. So we booked a new hotel and didn't stay at this one. Since this was the result of our own lack of checking, we weren't asking for a refund or anything like that; we just wish we had received a reply or more communication. It might be a good place to stay if you're over 25 and have the luggage to bring your own sheets and towels, but I don't think it's suitable for students like us who travel with backpacks. Anyway, please check the Q&A section before booking!!"

"Everything is great. Access to the city walls is convenient. The shopping street is also a quick walk away. The breakfast is good. Visby Airport is just a few minutes away. It's a great choice for both business and leisure travelers."

"Satisfied ☺︎ Especially the morning buffet is my favorite with the Swedish breakfast lineup! !! However, there were some spiders in the room and the footsteps on the upper floor (probably the front desk) were heard before 6 am because it was an underground room, so I think it is a good inn for those who don't care. It is possible to leave your luggage after check-out, but it will be placed in a keyless location at the front desk where the staff is not always there, but the security is not bad until this point."
