Perfect location in the historic center. You can walk to all of the major sights with 15 minutes and there are many cafes and restaurants close the hotel. The staff at the hotel is excellent and many have worked there for years— a positive sign. A special thank you to the breakfast staff who work hard to keep the buffet stocked with hot items and the dining room clean. Good value for the location and quality of the accommodation.

Fabulous hotel with lots of antique character /atmosphere in an excellent location near St Stephens Square. Easy access to the metro. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended. We spent five nights including NYE, and we would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at the Christiane Hörbiger Suite for four nights in early September 2024, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The hotel was immaculate – from the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff clearly take great pride in their work. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, centrally located with easy access to all the key attractions in Vienna. Whether you're a tourist or there on business, you’ll appreciate how close everything is. A special mention goes to their exceptional customer service. I accidentally left three shirts in the room cupboard after checking out. I contacted the hotel and they arranged for the shirts to be sent to my home in Finland free of charge! This level of attention and care really sets them apart. I will definitely be staying at the hotel again the next time I’m in Vienna. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay in this beautiful city! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

my rooom was plain but had everything I needed. Location is great, right there close the shops and short walk to St Stephen's cathedral and Schwedenplatz. Hotel is in a quiet cul de sac with a great café right next door. breakfast at hotel excellent and front desk staff most helpful.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the hotel and it's always a pleasure to be back. I love the central location, it's quiet, friendly staff, basic but good breakfast buffet, nice rooms. Not the newest hotel and there is not kettle etc in the room. Can't beat the location. The lift is very small and slow, perhaps part of its charm. Highly recommended if you want an affordable, central, quiet and "basic" hotel in Vienna.

Charming hotel in the center of Vienna, conveniently located for visiting everything on foot. Rooms, service, breakfast, and attention to detail were all excellent. For travelers with a car, there is a parking lot right next to the hotel, which is very convenient

Well, yes! A stone throw from St Stephan cathedral in old Vienna and with a secluded and quiet position, Yet near to everything within the ring. Old style hotel - Viennese you could say, but really with a fresh ambiance, clean and with fine service from the staff. "Cosy" lobby and the rooms as well. Comfortable beds. Basic amenities. Just fine breakfast. The breakfast room is rather small and can be a bit crowded, so choose your breakfast time outside the peak. On the top floor there is a small "library" with a computer and a small terrace overlooking the neighbour rooftops. Nice in nice weather. Astonishly affordable considering hotel prices in Vienna center. Highly recommended!

A lovely charming hotel tucked away in a quiet road, but a perfect location for exploring Vienna. Staff were excellent and a special mention to Erik for reassuring my elderly aunt in the lift. We were on the 5th floor so using the lift was essential for her. The hotel was spotlessly clean, from reception, the lounge, and the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, however there isn’t a kettle in the room but drinks could be requested from reception. Herbert and Alexander on reception were always very polite. My only little criticism would be lack of choice at breakfast for vegans. There was a good selection available but mainly meat and diary based. I was able to have some fresh fruit and vegetables, but a hot option, maybe mushrooms, would have been lovely. I would fully recommend.
