Artist Boutique Hotel

The Artist Boutique Hotel in Vienna is one of those rare places where every single detail has been considered and it shows. From the moment you enter, you’re surrounded by beautifully curated design. The artwork, the color palette, the décor, everything feels intentional, elegant, and cohesive. It’s not just a hotel; it’s an aesthetic experience. The beds and bedding were absolutely divine, truly among the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced. The pillows were perfect, and the rain shower was spectacular. Every element of the room was designed with comfort and beauty in mind. What makes this hotel truly unforgettable, however, is the staff. They are gracious, kind, and incredibly attentive anticipating needs before you even have to ask. Their level of care transforms a beautiful hotel into an extraordinary experience. The amenities are equally thoughtful. Having the ability to wash and dry clothes during our 10-day European trip was invaluable. Breakfast each morning was absolutely wonderful from fresh pastries to made-to-order omelets and a wide selection of high-quality options. Even small touches, like complimentary shoe shining, reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest experience. Martin, in the kitchen, was especially kind to us! There are simply too many thoughtful details to list. We have traveled extensively around the world, and without hesitation, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Vienna.

Honestly I’m not sure where to start or if I have the words for this hotel. From the contact before we arrived and helping to arrange a very smooth transfer from the airport to the hotel right up to the helpful arrangement of transport to the train station and advice as we left the stay here was a wonderful experience. The gentleman who was behind reception during most of the days we were there and when we arrived was very welcoming and helpful (apologies I forget his name) he arranged and early room for us and helped us orientate our sightseeing plan with transport tips and landmarks to look out for to get back to the hotel if we got a bit turned around while we were out. The room was wonderful, very well decorated and appointed with a lovely view over the roof tops of Vienna. The room was cleaned to a high standard. The breakfast was also fantastic, a great buffet selection and lovely cooked menu to choose from and all the food we had was cooked and presented very well and full of flavour. All the staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. It is somewhere to stay that we would definitely recommend. I’m not sure if there’s much to draw us back to Vienna but we would definitely consider returning just to stay here again. The only downside to the hotel was that it set the standards so well that it made the next hotel we stayed in on our trip feel like even more of a disappointment than it would have done normally. Thank you for helping to make our trip to Vienna memorable.

What an incredible find and we feel fortunate to have stayed at Artist last November. Excellent location, quiet residential street yet very walkable to everything central and train close by. Wonderful room, very quiet space. The entire staff, front desk, housekeeping, breakfast were lovely and working at a five star level. So professional, kind and service focused. An associate at the front desk gave excellent information about opera attendance. We especially enjoyed our time in the hotel bar after a day on foot. Julien, the bartender, is delightful and extremely knowledgeable. A beautifully appointed space and Julien is the best bartender we've experienced anywhere! Thank you to all and we look forward to our return to your amazing city.

We had never been to Vienna and were looking for a boutique hotel near to the Christmas Markets and as a result we chose the Artist Boutique Hotel, we could not have chosen better. We stayed for two nights with along with another couple and really enjoyed our time there. In fact, we were very sad to leave. The entrance on Buchfeldgasse is not very imposing but once through the doors you enter a world of serenity and calmness where nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff. We arrived late morning, but they checked us in without fuss and allowed us to leave our cases so we could visit the Christmas Markets unencumbered. The nearest market was about 8 minutes walk away on Rathhausplatz if you could get there without visiting one of the many splendid cafes on the way. Both of our beautifully appointed rooms on the fourth floor were very clean, warm, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast buffet was delicious with everything that you would expect of a continental breakfast fresh meats, cheese, bread, fruits and fresh juices there were also hot breakfast items available. Only one of our party tried the hot food a freshly prepared omelette, they were very pleased with their choice only leaving the pattern on the plate. Our stay was a memorable one thanks to all the staff who always had a smile and were polite and engaging. The hotel has a portrait mirror in the main reception area which we used on more than one occasion, the results always bringing a smile or a laugh. It is great fun for selfies which can be downloaded onto your phone. They then appear randomly in the digital picture frames during the day and once again it brought a smile when you saw them. The cocktail bar had an understated elegance which during our time was offering two for one cocktails, the ladies tried and loved the mocktails. While they did not have a large selection of beers the Austrian and Czech beers had been carefully chosen and were very welcome after a long day walking around Vienna. We would all love to go back again in the future.

Good location near restaurants and pubs, subway station and a few minutes to the Rathaus, 10-15 min walk to most of the center's historical landmarks. The gentleman at the reception was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The room is spacious and convenient and the shower was very good with a rain showerhead. The room could be a bit cleaner; it was not unclean but a little bit of dust here and there. Nothing to compromise our experience, and we'll definitely return.

This hotel is like a jewel box, everything about it is special and carefully considered. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure is excellent however, the real secret is the staff. They are very professional, warm and engaging. The breakfasts are truly amazing thanks to Martin’s careful attention to detail and kind manner. I wish I was still there!

We went with another couple to commemorate the birthday of one of the other couple. We stayed three nights and greatly enjoyed our time. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable, and very quiet. Breakfasts were excellent. Choices were to be made from a menu together with a continental buffet. The hotel was aware of our friend’s birthday and complimentary Buck’s Fizz was given on the special day. Half price cocktails were enjoyed in the early evenings. If you get the chance, play with the ‘portrait mirror’ near the lifts and main door. Great fun for selfies etc. excellent hotel. I’d love to go back.

Great location. Near tram stop and U-ban. King size bed. Front desk was very helpful. Safe in the room. Great closet and storage space. Half price cocktails from 6-8 except on Sunday and Monday.
