Gran Hotel Diligencias ★★★★

"The view is very nice, but in my opinion, the hotel needs a renovation of the bathrooms, locks, elevators, and furniture, as well as the curtains. Above all, everything needs to be in order before guests arrive, as I had to go downstairs many times. First, a remote control was out of batteries, then I had to ask for or exchange it several times in the middle of the night, which annoyed me a bit since it wasn't the right model. Also, the toilet seat was broken. However, the location is excellent, very quiet, and the views are beautiful."

DoubleTree by Hilton Veracruz ★★★★

"Overall good, clean and comfortable rooms. The living room was run down, with old armchairs and leaks from the rain. I was unlucky that the power went out on the day I stayed."

Camino Real Veracruz ★★★★★

"1. Some hotel front desk staff were not fluent in English, which affected communication. 2. They actually misled me during check-in by telling me there were no rooms available and giving me a different room type on the first floor. Even after I repeatedly went back to the front desk, they still believed it was correct. This was even confirmed by Ctrip's communication with their agent. When I went back to the front desk, another staff member, no longer misleading me, remained silent and admitted the mistake after my repeated questioning. Ctrip then verified and confirmed the error. Furthermore, despite repeated requests, the hotel never apologized, including to the staff member who misled me. 3. I booked a van for airport transfer at the concierge the day before, and the staff member confirmed it repeatedly and recorded the time in the logbook. However, the next day, a different person told me that their colleague hadn't informed them of any car booking arrangements, seriously delaying our itinerary for the day! 4. There was no water in the room. 5. The first floor was as dark as a basement. Terrible!!!"
