I was on my Rajasthan bike trip with one of my friend and we stayed here for a night on Dec 22nd, 2021. The hotel is located at prime location, just beside one of the main road, all sight seeing points quite nearby. The property seems to be pretty new, clean and well maintained. It has rooftop restaurant and I will recommend everyone to utilise the rooftop restaurant rather than ordering room service as it gives you amazing view point. But the highlight was the hospitality shown by the restaurant manager (in addition of all other staff). He will make sure that your orders are prepared as you want and make sure that you enjoy the experience to the fullest. Given that we were left with just half a day in Udaipur, he was kind enough to suggest that we should immediately head out to City palace, as it will take 3-4 hours and then proceed to Sajjangarh fort for the sunset to end the day.
The Taj Fateh Prakash is overall a good property with the location being really standout. What we loved: Our room (the grand luxury suite-the views were brilliant!), the location (both on the lake and within the city palace complex) and the service by most of its staff led by Santhosh Burla (Front Office Manager) and Pooja (Front Office). There was another smart young *** in front office, whose name I have now forgotten. Nothing was too much to ask of Pooja, she even helped me source some imp meds! The evening Arati at 6 pm is beautiful. The boat ride on the Lake was a treat too. What can improve: the rooms not being sound proofed/us being forewarned, resulting in loud, blaring music from other hotels hosting weddings…till 12:30 am! Not fun at all. As a minimum ear plugs should be offered to hotel guests. Also, not having a tipping policy. Where the service provided is not based on being tipped. But giving the option to the guest to tip at the end of stay/checkout. Also, the rest of the staff need more training for being more customer/guest friendly! The food is good (loved the Laal Maas and bhindi bhaji) though I think his HRH’s hotel restaurant (we had dinner there one night!) scores slightly higher. We had a great stay and would definitely return.
I booked for 4 days and my stay was very comforatble. General manager Ajit ji and other staff members made me feel warm and welcoming. Thank you for such good service and making my stay a memorable one. Thank you for making my Anniversary celebration a great one. I really appreciate the small gestures and efforts taken by staff members.
WOW! Stepping into this heritage hotel was truly breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and grace—complete with a shower of flowers that made us feel incredibly special. Our visit was to celebrate my birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make every wish come true. The property itself is spectacular, beautifully blending rich heritage with modern comfort. A special thanks to Mr. Jamail Khan, who gave us an incredibly knowledgeable tour of the palace. If you have the chance, I highly recommend booking the tour. It’s free of charge and offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich history of the castle. A heartfelt thank you also to Mr. Vijay Singh, who drove us throughout our entire tour of Rajasthan. We stayed at RAAS Jodhpur and RAAS Chhatrasagar as well—both properties were exceptional. A very special mention and thanks to our coordinator, Mr. Rishi Kant Sharma, whose attention to detail and thoughtfulness made our stay truly memorable. From start to finish, everything was perfect—an experience we will cherish forever. Thank you, RAAS Devigarh, for making this celebration so special!
It's a great time to explore with family to resort it was good to stay food and comfortable to hang and chill veg restaurant service is smooth enjoy able food housekeeping staff is hard to their work me ravindar and rathod chef dauji corporate with guest to be comfortable.
The hotel location was a plus point for booking as it is situated near the temple parking, so it's convenient to visit temple. The guard will help you to book the rickshaw for the temple. The rooms were clean, spacious and airy. Some of the rooms are small compared to the category. But we were lucky enough to get bigger rooms. Breakfast was good and the food quality and taste was amazing. The staff and the service was at its best.
ผผู้เข้าพักHotel is good with spacious rooms. Room service and facilities make stay satisfactory, apart from that hotel is at prime location as commuted in hotel description.
”I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with everything I needed. The amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were excellent. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. I can't wait to return!” ”I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the front office associate during my stay. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with a genuine smile and made the check-in process seamless. They patiently answered all my questions, provided great recommendations for local attractions, and even went out of their way to accommodate a last-minute request. Their friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly made me feel welcome. Excellent customer service like this sets a property apart-I can't thank them enough for making my stay so enjoyable! Special thanks to KHUSHI BHATT from office associate.
Situated in a beautiful 300-year-old haveli, Hostel Mantra is one of the best places I have ever stayed. I first stayed in their lake-view private room which was very clean, nicely furnished, had a giant bed and the view meant I didn't need to leave my room to enjoy the beauty of Udaipur. Sitting by the window there was honestly the perfect antidote to my Delhi travels before this. I also stayed in the dorms which were again very clean and had lots of space. The location is right on the lakefront so the view from the roof was breathtaking, and they had a restaurant up there too with a large menu for any meal of the day (plus drinks and a great happy hour!). Also it's just a 10 mins walk to city palace from here and the boats on the lake leave from right outside the hostel. Now the staff are what made this place unforgettable. Vinit, Dwisha and Ashish are all incredibly welcoming and fun people and they run tours and events each day for the guests. They even message the day's events to each guest's WhatsApp which was very convenient. On a more personal note, I got quite ill during my time here (not due to anything at the hostel itself) and all of them (including the housekeeper) were rallying around me, contacting doctors, getting me medication and doing whatever they could to make sure I had everything I needed to get better. I cannot thank them enough.
One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in ! Beautiful in location, interior and the rooms and decor. Takes you back to the days of the Maharajah's era in the paintings. EXCELLENT quality food from the kitchen , reception manager very helpful in helping arrange itinerary and also help getting medical aid calling a doctor to our rooms after my 3 colleagues got sick after drinking unbolted water in the city! You can have your romantic meals in the old marble domes with the lake just inches from you! hotel was recommended by my colleague Dr Inderjit from Malaysia and turned out to be the best recommendation of our India vacation trip!
HHardik SiddhpuraIf you have selected the places based on the pictures then be ready to be a bit disappointed, lower your expectations a bit the place is cheaper compared to others and that is what you will get at the price.
You have to pay for the whole stay upfront and you cannot modify later
Trip com will have no power over the modification they will be of no help trust me I tried :)
The location is 4 km away from old city which is where you will be travelling for the roof top restaurant, temples, museum and the spots of interests.
The cleanliness in the place is alright its an old place all in all it was an average stay nothing that will really please you but nothing that will make you feel upset atleast that was in our case we saw a few upset customers so I guess we lucked out on a better room comparatively.
The skydeck roof restaurant ***** with the hotel is below par to say the least the place needs more cleanliness and follow some hygiene protocols (it was lacking to be honest) again the place is nothing like you will see in the pictures even the swimming pool is something you will never use it not safe or clean it's just a big make shift well to be put precisely.
The staff and reception were polite, well behaved and helpful. Thank you for that plus.
