เจ๊หน้าเคาน์เตอร์พูดจาแย่มาก ตั้งแต่เช็คอินพยายามจะขอเก็บ tourist tax เพิ่ม ทั้งๆที่เราบอกจ่ายผ่านแพลตฟอร์มไปแล้วก็ยังไม่เชื่อโดยอ้างว่าไม่ได้รับ จนต้องเอาหลักฐานใบเสร็จแสดงถึงยอม เข้าใจว่าคงใช้ไม้นี้กับคนอื่นมามากแล้วโดยเฉพาะคนที่ฝากคนอื่นช่วยจอง ห้องพักเล็กมาก เปิดประตูก็ชนหัวเตียงเลย ขอทางรร. เปลี่ยนห้อง เจ๊แกพูดจาไม่ดียืนยันอย่างเดียวว่าไม่มีห้องว่างแล้วถึงจะมีก็เหมือนกัน เราบอกว่าเคยมาพักแล้วห้องมันใหญ่กว่านี้มันก็ไม่ยอมท่าเดียว ห้องน้ำเล็กนิดเดียว อ่างล้างหน้าขนาดเท่าชามบะหมี่ แถมผนังห้องน้ำก็มีคราบ

Location, many food stalls at night, clean room, shower head is so high (am 1.8m) so difficult to have a good shower, the door to the balcony is not able to shut properly, hearing noise n disturbing sleep. I parked my car in the car park lot in front of the hotel, and found a parking offence ticket issued at 0804 hr. (Upon checking in, the hotel reception assured us it is safe to park in the car park lots outside the hotel, 5pm to 9am overnight.

Walking distance to Larut Matang food court . Service wise, the hotel was short handed . We booked 2 rooms and arrived for check in after 2pm but was told only one room was ready. We waited for almost an hour and the staff said he wad alone in cleaning the rooms . It was ok otherwise.

The Louis Hotel is in downtown Taiping right next to the big public market building. It had no restaurant itself but with that location food is close no matter which direction including a 7-11 on the corner. I ate excellent street food just across the Main Streetone block away. The staff was nice and helpful though I don’t understand why early check in wasn’t offered when clearly rooms were available? This happened several times in Malaysia. As an Innkeeper myself if I have a clean available room of the size they reserved I always allow early check in. Everything was fine at this hotel it’s just the easiest bit of extra service would have made it nicer. I loved Taiping, walking the entire Historic Trail over 2 days. It has an amazing city park, just beautiful and the zoo is open at night which was really cool. I would visit Taping again and stay at the Louis Hotel without worry.

Good experience overall, value of mone

The hotel is situated at a convenient location with many food options. Walking distance to Taiping Mall. Although the linens and towels are clean,, the condition of the room is below average. Some parts of the wall has slight mold on them.

My recent stay at Louis Hotel to watch The Taiping International Youth Marching Band Festival was really good experience. Saturday evening Marching parade and Sunday morning band presentation right in front hotel. It’s really super convenient. Within walking distance many local eating eateries, Siang Malam food court and Larut Matang are 2 best choices. I recommend if you want affordable hotel for stay.

Love this hotel. Suitable for a solo or business traveller. Everything within walking distance. Very nice for short trip. Room was nice too. Registration was smooth. Nice staff. Recommended hotel for short stay.

Good location in the centre if Taiping town.   My doubke bed room is small but enough for couples.   Room is hright with sufficient lightings which is good for senior guests.   It would be perfect, if non slip mat is provided in the the bathroom.  After shampooing, the tiles are a bit slippery.  Overall value for money

Fast check in & check out process. Spacious room, Near to Taipng shopping Mall and food centre.

Strategic location very convenient for food and moving around Taiping. I highly recommend this hotel with friendly staff.

Dated hotel, front doors not an automatic doors, stay for 8 nights had requested for a room with street views upon booking, was given a room with next building rooftop views. Hot water from the shower took a long time to get hot ( 20 minutes) & room aircon must be switch off . Wall paper was torn . Front desk staff not proficient in english. Water dispenser available to staff in store room not to guest at the lobby.
