Very friendly, personable staff in lobby and breakfast restaurant; attentive and pleasant, which brightened a difficult weekend for me, visiting an ailing parent. Super nice and clean remodeled room; good sized bathroom and nice, big pool I used twice; really great central location too. Would definitely stay here again!
I am writing this review mainly to thank a few specific people who made our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast staff were wonderful, attentive, and friendly offering a large variety of foods and beverages. Each morning, Augustine was exceptional by greeting everyone with his wonderful smile and kind disposition. It was obvious that he enjoyed his job! I also appreciated Alan at the front desk who listened to my concerns about housekeeping and handled everything in a professional and caring manner. As we were checking out after our five night stay, the manager, AJ, made sure to ask how everything was and genuinely cared about our stay. She does a great job with her staff and guests.
The resort is absolutely stunning - from the rooms to the views, the food and especially the drinks. Blake, the bartender at the Casa 71 tequila lounge was the highlight of our trip - we went down an amazing mezcal tasting journey together and he went above and beyond when making our drinks off menu. Go by the lounge and request the Pink Dragon drink if you’re a fan of mezcal and prickly pear, we created the drink together!
ผผู้เข้าพักWe just returned from Tucson vacation. The Adobe Rose was one of the highlights of our trip; simply the best B&B we've ever stayed in! Immaculate rooms and common areas featuring comfortable and colorful Southwestern touches (art; fireplaces; leather couches; bright fun color schemes throughout the property; courtyards with orange and lemon trees, a fountain, lovely seating ”pods” to enjoy a coffee or cocktail; cozy pool that gets plenty of sun). Rooms have luxurious beds; great shower; bathrobes; excellent bedside reading lights. Rooms are quiet, very private.Multi-course breakfast to die for! fresh fruit, quiche, frittatas, home made pastries, even breakfast dessert. Different and creative each morning. Super location in quiet, charming neighborhood. Your host, Dina, simply the Best! Impeccable service and so helpful with tips for restaurants, attractions. Dina makes you feel right at home, like you are part of the Adobe Rose family, yet never intrusive. Once there, you'll want to extend your stay.
This was the perfect place to stay while traveling from Phoenix to Tombstone - the hotel is right off the 10 freeway. The hotel is very clean, has a pool & jacuzzi, free breakfast, free parking, and the staff were very nice. There's a Denny's next door and some fast food place, but if you don't feel like driving to dinner, there's a menu at reception for a pizza place that delivers to your room, and the pizza was good. We would definitely stay here again when passing through.
The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. There's room for clothes storage, a television, and a small desk. I like the fact that every room has a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave - very convenient. The staff is extremely friendly, and they have free coffee and filtered water in the lobby. You have to exchange your towels and linens at the front desk because there is no daily maid service - not a big deal in my opinion. The hotel is located next to the highway, so there is traffic noise.
MmargiecreedonWhat a pleasant surprise stay for us as we've stayed at many hotels in Tucson and knew this place under prior ownership, but had never stayed here. Over Thanksgiving weekend, the price was right, the location was right, the full kitchen and sitting room was right. Breakfast was an added bonus that makes this place even better as they provide a full breakfast. While we didn't bring our pets, we just might next time as they are pet-friendly. We will stay here again.
This hotel is not worthy of the Doubletree brand. It is old and tired with issues throughout. Stayed one night to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. I asked for a first floor room close to the lobby so they put me as far away as possible in the second floor - the design of the hotel is outdoor entry once past the lobby which involves navigating large luggage through doors with no auto opener. Fine, but once in the room, it was tired musty. The phone wasn’t turned on so I had to call the desk because there are no channel guides in the room - they are at the front desk and need to be delivered - why they don’t put one in every room is a mystery. The bedside lamp outlet didn’t work and the pillows had dark smudges on them. I was tired so I didn’t complain. In the morning, found shampoo bottle broken and on the shower floor. To top it off, there was no hair dryer and the front desk said it would take 20 minutes when the shuttle driver gets back - left for the airport with wet hair. My advice is to avoid this hotel and stay a few doors down at the Hilton Garden Inn. This hotel is not Hilton-worthy.
