It was a really good stay and the accomodation was really clean

Excellent location. In and around the hotel, there are a lot of delicious restaurants. The highway is easily accessible. The bedroom was nice and tidy. Would return to stay there.

Your belongings are not safe at this hotel; I celebrated my birthday at Protea Hotel Fire & Ice Menlyn, hoping for a memorable experience, but it turned into a nightmare. My phone was stolen, and the security response was shockingly inadequate. Despite CCTV footage and alerting the hotel management within 2 minutes of the incident, there was no lockdown, no attempt to locate the thief, and no accountability. This lack of security and disregard for guest belongings is deeply disappointing, especially for a loyal customer. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values safety and accountability. I urge Protea Hotels to reassess their security protocols and prioritize guest safety

Very cozy and fabulous hotel. Very clean passageways and good soundproofed rooms. Close to many attractive places in the precinct. Good Food with variety, great ambience, strict security measures in place and very secure for floor access. Speedy service.

Attending a workshop at this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service at the restaurant. Unlike other establishments, the chef, Kenny, went above and beyond by packing my lunch for later when I wasn't feeling hungry. This level of flexibility and care is unparalleled. The entire staff contributed to a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking outstanding service and hospitality.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The shower was divine and spacious! It was clean and had friendly staff. The breakfast was unreal with SO many options. Secure parking too, and perfect internet with high speed. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful hotel to stay at. The hotel has the most friendliest staff and I felt so cared for and welcomed on a daily basis. It was a joy coming and going from the lobby with the incredible staff. My room was so incredibly clean and taken care of daily and to mention how well I slept at night and how nice and quiet the rooms were with no sound from other rooms or hallway. The whole hotel is just immaculate. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with everything you could want and the made to order egg station was amazing as well. We loved their restaurant so much and looked forward to eating there along with the great service by a wonderful and friendly wait staff daily. This is my forever hotel when I stay in Pretoria. It really is a gem in this lovely city.

They were hosting a comedy show at the hotel. I had dinner before the show and food was perfectly cooked and the vibe of the place makes one to want to stay longer. I love the decor especially the lighting which made the place look inviting and warm. I saw on their menu that they other events like live music which I'll definitely be trying out.

First time in Pretoria and I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks on a business trip. Location is good (…just across the road from a major shopping mall) and not too far by car from many other places for dinner and drinks. The standard room is an OK size and has most of the amenities that you need in a room (safe, kettle, etc…). No iron & board in the room, but staff can bring one up at short notice. There is a small desk area to work from. Basic toiletries in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable, AC was OK, and it was nice to have an opening window in a hotel room. Breakfast was excellent, but the food at lunch and dinner was fairly average. Had the steak one night and it was probably the worst steak I’ve ever had. The staff in the dinning and bar area were amazing and this made the experience of eating there so much better. From Friday night and over the weekend, the dinning and bar area becomes a bit of a party zone. It can get busy and loud during this time, so if this isn’t your scene, you may not enjoy it. I actually quiet liked it and it was refreshing to be in a hotel that had some life to it. As with the dinning staff, the reception staff were great and always helpful. A good, clean, reliable, and safe hotel. Food quality was a bit average, but there are other places nearby to eat dinner. I would recommend this place and would stay again.
