"This is my first time coming to Srilanka especially on a solo trip and I must say this hotel made my trip 100x better . As soon as I entered the hotel I was greeted by multiple members of staff who were overjoyed to be in the position they were in. I loved staying here because of the beautiful views which made me appreciate the Srilankan culture! The breakfast was very nice and the staff were happy to help me. kugan (a member of staff) was extremely helpful throughout my visit.I fail to understand all the poor reviews because this hotel was amazing and i will recommend to anybody visiting the beautiful country!"

"We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort in Sri Lanka. I was there with my husband and our three-year-old daughter, and we all loved it so much. It truly feels like a little paradise. The resort itself is fantastic and the service is outstanding. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, the accommodation is lovely, and the whole place has such a peaceful atmosphere. Our daughter especially enjoyed the pools — both the main pool and the private ones — and she loved exploring the surroundings. The beach nearby is absolutely fantastic, and there is so much to see and do in the area. You can even grab a bike from the resort and explore around, which is a great experience. One of the most special moments of our stay was watching the local fishermen bring in their catch from the sea. On one of the days, they kindly gave us some fresh fish, and we asked the chef at the resort if he could cook it for us. He did, and it turned into such a memorable and unique meal for our family. The room service was exceptional. Our room was cleaned twice a day and everything was kept perfectly clean, with great attention to detail. Every evening before bedtime, the staff surprised us by creating amazing towel shapes on the bed — like crocodiles, dolls. Our daughter absolutely loved these small creative The whole place feels very safe, warm, and family-friendly. It was definitely worth it for the price, and we truly had an amazing time. We will absolutely come back again."

"Booked 2 family rooms & paid deposit .When we turned up the manager who said he was a former lieutenant in the army said only one room was available,as the guest in the room reserved for us is sick & refuses to go .So some of us have to spend one night in a different hotel! But when confronted he admitted that he lied !We had to pay him additional money for the other hotel . Rest of the staff were very good .Beware of mosquito.Hoards of it ."

"Amazing hotel with so nice and kind people. They treat you like a family. Hotel is so close to the beach, aprox 3min by foot. Room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel provide beach towels. Hotel have a nice pool. They serve breakfast every morning. Breakfast is fabulous, every morning they serve freshly juices (papaya, mango, passion fruit, pineapple), scrambled eggs, pancakes (rice or coconuts), some local dishes ( sorry, but I a am forgot the name), fresh fruits, coffee and tea, avocado, marmalade with butter and much more. Food is so delicious. They prepare dinner for us, few time, and dinner was amazing. For dinner they made fish or curry, depends what you want. The menager is excellent, he does a good job. We staying 12 days, and they arranged for us, a free trip to Marble beach, it was amazing experience. Hotel is very clean. If you choose this hotel, you will not regret it. I had the best service in this hotel so far, and I have stayed in many hotels. Last but not least, last day, manager mother made cookies for us, for the trip. ❤️ Like I am said, I never feel kindness like in this hotel. Thank you team for everything, you are amazing. I hope so we will see again!"

"It's a budget hotel, and while you can live with its shortcomings, you can find much better options for the same price. The location is poor—you have to climb an unlit dirt road up the mountain. Ants are a real problem—they'll swarm around the room, and if you leave food in the room, you'll end up with an anthill within an hour. The breakfast...well, it's just awful. The bed linens were covered in hair, the bathroom had hairy soap stubs, the plaster was peeling off the walls, and the air conditioner was noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night. On the plus side, there was hot water and the staff was friendly."

"We just stayed 4 nights at the Anukama resort in Nilaveli. We had a truly wonderful time! The resort itself is a true paradise with beautiful accommodation, a lovely garden setting with all tropical plants and a wonderful pool. It's just a short walk to the beach and close to crocodile lake. Nice little restaurants at walking distance, but also good food at the resort. Great Breakfast also! But by far the best feature is the staff! They do everything to make your stay memorable. Kindness and friendliness from the goodness of their hearts! They were fantastic to our kids, made them feel home and safe. They make this place absolutely great. I hope that many more will enjoy their hospitality! "

"We had to cancel another booking and ended up in this hotel. Not sure if it was really open but we had the impression that we were the only customers. Good beds and shower but really strange atmosphere. Nobody tallked to us not even when offering the breakfast. First night a lot of dogs were barking for hours on the property, second night there was a celebration of a big family, using the swimming pool with all their clothes on as this is the tradition in Sri Lanka. At night shouting at 2', 3' and 6'. We really didn't feel welcome here. Also the environment is not really for tourists as only locals seem to come here. Nice beach."
