Great location if you're travelling by car. Beautiful view from the room. Great breakfast too. The only 2 downsides are: (1) Both Wifi and 4G signal were unusable at times, and (2) only limited guest parking spots (but free parking on the nearby road).

All'Horel Miramare sono stata solo 1 notte durqnte un viaggio con mio marito. Si trova in una comoda posizione a pochi minuti a piedi dal Castello, il personale è molto cordiale e gentile, la vista dalla stanza sul mare è veramente mozzafiato, ma l'Hotel è sicuramente da considerare più 3 stelle e non 4 un pò per tutto dalla colazione al bagno, la doccia con la tenda di stoffa scomoda, delle parti deteriorate come le porte, per terra contorni sporchi sopratutto intorno hai sanitari. Per il complesso buono ma non certo ottimo da 4 stelle.

Para comenzar mi reseña quiero aclarar que soy una estudiante de 21 años, acostumbrada a hacer viajes MUY LOW COST, no suelo elegir hoteles y me conformo con poco. Por otro lado, por circunstancias iba a viajar con una amiga y acabé yendo sola. El desayuno era completo y variado, la repostería estaba muy rica y tienen bebidas vegetales, es lo que más me gustó de mi estancia. Las trabajadoras de recepción me han tratado muy bien. He podido comunicarme en inglés con todas, me han atendido cuando lo he necesitado, son muy profesionales. Cuando pedí comida para llevar la recogieron, me avisaron y me ofrecieron dejarme un tenedor. fue una grata sorpresa que en mi habitación (Habitación doble con vistas parciales al mar), la 111, tuviese dos camas de un ancho de 90 cm juntas. Al reservarlo ponía que la cama tendría un ancho comprendido entre 135 y 150 cm. Las "amenities" estaban muy bien, a mí me dieron botes de 32 cl de gel, champú y crema corporal, había un dispensador de jabón de manos en el lavabo, gorro de ducha, bastoncillos, lima de uñas y algodón, kit de costura, sobre de jabón de higiene íntima, vasos desechables y un bolígrafo. La calefacción hacía un poco de ruido, aconsejo que si no saben cómo funciona el regulador de temperatura y los distintos botos que hay, pregunten a los trabajadores. Las cortinas no dejaban la habitación en completa oscuridad, así que si sois españoles acostumbrados a las persianas y sois sensibles a la luz, podríais traer un antifaz. El único punto negativo es que cuando haciendo el check out le dije que una bolsa de silicona reutilizable había desaparecido se limitó a disculparse educadamente, en lugar de ofrecerme una compensación por haber tirado a la basura mi propiedad.

We stayed almost a week at the Hotel Miramare and it was a great experience. All receptionists were very helpful and cordial. Our room was quiet, impeccably clean each day and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. The ambiance of the hotel is serence and practical, including good parking facility and the proximity of the beach. The breakfast buffet is varied and we would single out the outmost proffesional care of Michaela, who is a true asset for the staff.

Room unbelivable small with no space for luggage/belonging.Although marvellous position!! Seaview! Very nice personnel and breakfast facilities.Nice parking facilities. Very nice sunbathing and swimming facility across the street. All together nice experience, but next time we need to book our stay with small carry-on luggage only!

For my visit to the Miramare castle I stayed at the Miramare hotel and it was just everything I hoped for and even more. First of all I had a room with a balcony what I wasn´t expecting, so at my arrival I enjoyed a georgeos sunset. The room was spacious and everything was perfectly clean, couldn´t have wished more of my room. The breakfast, for me as a foodlover, was a dream. There was so much choice, that I didn´t know what to pick at first and all was super delicious! The staff was immensely friendly and helpfull. Couldn´t wished for more than what I got, and that all for an amazing price! So I highly recommend this hotel! You won´t regret it!!!

Nice location, even if in a quite busy road to the Miramare Castle. Rooms clean and well serviced but very small: the rooms at the first floor (higher rate) have a small and enjoyable terrace with two sun beds. Breakfast very good with an considerable choice of sweet and savory options. Free parking. Internet connection is a total disaster, very slow and unstable: unusable. Notwithstanding my pointing out the situation several times, no action was taken to improve the service. On a Saturday night the access to the Le Vele restaurant was denied not because fully booked but because there was only one waiter (with a suspicious veil of racism toward the not European requesting customer, on which it is better to fly over …). Unbelievable and totally unacceptable for a four star hotel. Unfortunately these two last elements undermine the overall rating of this otherwise nice boutique hotel.

We stayed here for a week in June for a friend’s wedding nearby. Great location on the sea front. The location is a few miles outside of Trieste so a taxi is needed to and from the city. Better to have a hire car: the hotel has plenty of parking. The breakfast is well managed and a great choice of delicious food served in the lovely restaurant. We had dinner there once; the food was good. Our room had a balcony with great views, though there is often a lot of traffic and noise from cars and motorcycles. But lovely sea views. The room service and cleaning was quick, unobtrusive and immaculate every time, so a big thank you to housekeeping. Reception team are stars. They coped well with everything we asked (in English as we hardly speak any Italian) and were super helpful, even recovering my mobile phone which I stupidly left in a taxi. Also, every morning the reception and dining room team welcomed us with smiles and greetings. A great hotel, I’d be happy to recommend and to stay here again.

Lovely view, but not too comfirtable rooms (too small, the bed was something between couch and bed, you can hear quite well neighbours (not too islolated)). Nice breakfast buffee, free parking, great location. For a weekend getaway-perfect.

AVOID!!! We got sick at this hotel! Entering the room had a massive mold smell, “no change of room possible”. Like you, this was suppose to be our best time of the year. We work so hard during the year and this was suppose to be our time to relax, especially as it was our major anniversary. We booked and prepaid this hotel as we were there about 8 years ago and had an amazing time (back then it wasn’t prepay!), well not this time. We think the management or ownership changed, but clearly this is not what it used to be. I informed the hotel that this is our major anniversary and booked the most expensive room. The room we got was 107, with the terrace but the room itself appears to be the smallest of all in the first floor with terraces, the main issue was the mold smell and the AC, yes breakfast is lavish, but when you get sick this is less important. The AC wasn’t cleaned for months, even though front desk evening guy claimed it is cleaned “regularly” - see pictures! Also, the temperature is controlled by the front desk, our room was set to high level never going down below 24 and we constantly complained and were told “it will be lowered”. Also, there is a strange knocking sound on the walls every 15-20 min, not sure if this is from the elevator or what, but we were not able to sleep any of the nights we were there. Above that, the walls are filthy (see pictures) and don’t appear to be painted regularly- that is clearly not the 4-stars hotel we expected or experienced years ago. Ha, and if you are expecting a non-smoking hotel, go somewhere else. They advertise as non-smoking hotel, balconies have ashtrays, so you can enjoy the trace for five minutes before a neighboring guest starts smoking… also, they have chairs right at the front door of the hotel with ashtrays near (see picture) so the smokers seats there and there is no way to enter or exist the hotel without being subjected to a “wall” of cigarettes smoke! Yes, it’s Italy, we know, but the hotel management don’t have to encourage smoking locations right at the door or balconies! Ha, and one more thing, hotel claim they have a private beach, the beach is not just for hotel guests with hundred of people, above all weigh the hotel voucher we were charged 5€ a person on Sat and Sunday access. AVOID the aggravation, go somewhere else!

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti. UBICAZIONE: sulla strada panoramica che porta a Trieste, a 15 minuti a piedi dal castello di Miramare (infatti per accedervi si passava davanti all'hotel). Vista mare splendida SERVIZIO : Reception sempre aperta. Ascensori per accedere ai piani. Diversi parcheggi privati, sia a livello della strada panoramica che davanti all'hotel. Poi lungo la via d'accesso all'hotel ci sono posti, che non abbiamo capito se sono effettivamente posteggi. Il personale è sempre stato cordiale e professionale con noi, sia che fosse quello di sala che alla reception. Se non sbaglio c'era anche il servizio ristorante oltre a quello bar. Appena arrivati ci è stato dato un buono per un aperitivo di benvenuto dalle 17.00. Mi è dispiaciuto non poterne usufruire, ma il gesto è stato apprezzato. CAMERA : Forse la camera dovevamo prenderla di un livello superiore, solo per il letto che era incastrato tra le due pareti, con un asse di legno come base e un materasso davvero basso, morbido e basico... Altra nota dolente la Moquette che personalmente non apprezzo per tutto quello che rimane di sporco al suo interno. Poi il resto era molto ben organizzato e la parete di fondo a tutta vetrata era favolosa. Le altre camere invece avevano il terrazzino. Scrivania stretta con sopra appesa la TV. Ampio armadio con cassaforte e frigobar. Il BAGNO. Cieco, piccolo e stretto, ma pulito(cosa più importante). WC, bidet, lavandino con lungo piano d'appoggio, doccia con tenda che però non allagava il pavimento come spesso accade. Phon con presa e necessarie sia di prodotti per la doccia che spazzola per pulire le scarpe, piuttosto che il kit per il cucito. Ho apprezzato la qualità dei prodotti da bagno che erano di un'ottima marca. COLAZIONE:sala con ampio buffett sia di salato che di dolce. Ho letto cattive recensioni in merito, che non condivido: non ci sarà stato il crudo invecchiato 18 mesi, ma c'era del prosciutto e dei formaggi, dei pane, anche in cassetta da tostare, brioche, succhi, yogurt, muesli, frutta, frutta secca. C'era una macchinetta per l'erogazione di bevande calde, che venivano anche portate dal persone di sala che le preparava in cucina. C'era anche la possibilità di avere le uova in diverse preparazioni richiedendole al persona di sala. RAPPORTO QUALITA' PREZZO : Abbiamo speso 100€ a notte per la doppia con colazione, quindi ottimo prezzo. Le altre stanze avevano prezzi più alti, ma sono comunque soddisfatta GIUDIZIO COMPLESSIVO : Onestamente ci tornerei, magari con una camera di livello più alto.
