Rainbow Motel

It starts with a chatty lady at the desk, too much chat & little action, paperwork should have been handed prior to arrival, she manually entered every piece of info anyone qould ever want to know about a 1 night stay, way overboard, then she gives my wife & i a room right next to the noisy road when others were available. The hotel room was way out dated but adequately clean, curtains were paper thin so light was way too bright, bed was hard & pillows were hard (give me a My Pillow plz). We enjoyed Thermopolis & the city hot springs & will be bak, but not to the Rainbow motel.

The rooms are out dated but clean , the lady running the place was supper nice , Cute town ,and the room was priced right .

Due to a mix-up with another motel, we arrived without a reservation. My wife uses a rollator-walker and we need a ground floor room and preferred something close to the hot springs. Gina was very welcoming and showed us room 23, which was ideal for us. Motel is a half a block from Dairyland, which has great ice cream. Thank you Gina for a great stay! We hope we will be able to come back next year again.

Wonderful location near the HotSprings, lovely park to walk your pets. The neon lights kept me from sleeping soundly. Needs some updating but has tons of potential.

For the price. I have no complaints about the property. Everything is antiquated/outdated. My main complaint about this motel. There is no air conditioning. Received a call from the proprietor prior to us arriving. She seems to be concerned about you having pets and if you're going to show up. During check-in she mentioned something about a swamp dehumidifying / air conditioning system. All the years of traveling I've never encountered this. All this system does is make noise. A simple fan in the room would have been a lot more effective. The listing specifies air conditioningin the Room. in my opinion this is not air conditioning. The room was very warm and uncomfortable,So I wasn't able to fall asleep until well after 2:30 a.m. upon arrival she offered us a bucket of ice. Next morning when we woke up the water was yellow. Not sure what's up with that. Definitely would not recommend this motel. I generally like to support small independent business owners. But after this experience I might just consider sticking to corporate chain establishments. Usually they have some centralized quality control.

Walking in room barefoot left our feet dirty. For a no animal hotel, the room next to us had a dog that barked all night. The front desk lady was very sweet and very helpful with the town and things to do.

I booked the wrong date and thankfully Gina called to confirm. She helped make accommodations for me that night and had the room and key ready on arrival. Thank you Gina!

An old motel in need of upgrades. No AC, but evaporative cooling that was incredibly noisy and did not work at 1st and I had to adjust the float. For some reason there were holes drilled into the walls and doors. I think they purposely gave me a crap room for booking with Travelocity. At least the shower was fairly new and clean.

I liked the area and was happy we got a different room due to the ants in the first room. Staff very friendly. Very old ceilings and bathrooms and water pressure was not so great, but it was cozy and comfortable.
