老闆娘是華人，人超級温柔貼心！知道我們一路奔波，剛到酒店就給我們煮了熱乎乎的粥喝，那種在異鄉被當成家人一樣照顧的感覺，一下子就暖到了心底。酒店的環境、設施都超出預期，房間窗外的風景美到失語，推開門就能看到絕美的湖光山色，每一處細節都透着用心。

Beautiful property with stunning views. Immaculately clean and well appointed. Stephanie & Neil are warm, caring hosts. As vegetarians, we sadly did not have the good fortune of eating dinner at the Lodge, but canapes and breakfast were excellent. Since we got rained in, we spent more time in the common spaces at the Lodge than we had planned — with 360 degree views, the living & dining floor is gorgeous. We were sad that our stay was only a night. A must stay and we will recommend it very highly to all friends who visit this part of New Zealand.

Located on a hill opposite Taupo, the views over the lake are exceptional and the modern property uses glass well. Our room had a great view of the lake, the room was cozy (smaller than we expected), nice bathroom and small patio, that unfortunately we could not use due to weather. The common space on the middle floors of the property were beautiful and airy, it was where we had breakfast with other guests and in the evening the lounge area was for canapes and drinks at 6pm. We met some wonderful like minded people over drinks, sharing experiences. The owners Stephanie and Neil were friendly. On our first night we booked dinner in house and so did 2 other couples, so 6 of us had great conversation and a very good meal cooked by Stephanie (meal is on the expensive side, however for 1 night worth a try, if you do not want to drive in to town) Overall we had a nice comfortable stay, my only comment would be on value for money, It was on the high end and not to sure it was worth it.

Very comfortable stay in the garden room. Lovely breakfast that is cooked to order as well as drinks and canapés at 18:00. The turndown service was also much appreciated. We had dinner there for two of our three nights: the first (steak) was excellent and worth every penny; the second (lamb) didn’t quite hit the same highs for us.

Neil and Stephanie run this modern, almost zen like lodge and are the perfect hosts. Our room was spacious and everything had been considered. At 6pm guests gather for drinks and canapés which are delicious. And it's lovely to meet the other 2 couples then and over breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic location! The room was well equipped and the hosts were so welcoming. Sadly we didn’t read the small print so weren’t aware that you could book dinner. Judging by the quality of the complimentary canapés, we would highly recommend that you do.

Perfect stay in Acacia Cliffs Lodge! Fantastic views with beautifully clean & comfortable rooms. Stephanie & Neil are the most professional hosts. We dined at the Lodge on our first night and it was top class food & service! Michelin star in my eyes!

Neil and Stephanie are the perfect hosts. They run a Lodge with beautiful rooms and comfortable beds that look over the lake. They serve food that observes ingredients, customs, and presentations of Local and Asian traditions. Their wine list draws from the finest local productions presented with their own label

We stayed here for 3 nights a few days after arriving in NZ after a very long overseas trip. It was pure luxury! Perhaps we didn’t read the reviews or website throughly enough, but it was over and beyond what we expected! Neil and Stephanie are not only the owners but chefs too (Neil is a trained chef) and you’re welcome to have a 5-star dinner (separate rate) nightly and breakfast is included daily. The FOOD is spectacular! It is fresh and they prep for hours to get ready for you. My husband is celiac and they made sure he had gluten free bread and meals. The view from our bedroom was stunning and although we were resting a lot, it felt like a vacation just watching the sunrise over the lake from bed each morning. They also do turn down service nightly and left cookies and chocolates for us — the room was also equipped with a bottle of wine & luxury teas. I could go on and on but it’s more than a B&B, it’s blissful, peaceful and just what we needed. We left feeling ready for our big hike in the South Island and continued travels!
