Great location and enough space. Rooms were well cleaned. Quite satisfied at all.

Very nice!

Great location. Decent rooms. But, mediocre service. They didn’t have stable internet on the second day of our stay for which I had to reschedule my work calls till the next day. When I requested for a late check out next day so that I could attend my work calls, they said I’ll have to pay 50 euros for it. They don’t have a front desk so when we got there we realised the place had lockboxes and we didn’t receive any information about that either. We had to contact them upon arrival and then they gave us the info.

Superbe nuit, on était triste de devoir quitter l’endroit. Le café sur la terrasse ensoleillée au matin était le petit truc en plus. (On n’entend juste un peu le bar à côté le soir, mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé plus que ça) Nous conseillons chaudement! Brigitte & Serge

房間寬敞，位置優越

Lovely place to stay for a few days in Taormina, we have no regrets booking this room. There are 5 half flights of stairs to climb so be aware of that. The terrace was really nice to have. As said only 4 coat hangers, defo need more. The only thing I would say is the small mini bar fridge is not cold at all, I put a pint of milk in for a cuppa tea and it was off the next morning. Defo need a proper fridge.

My wife and I recently stayed at the above and here are some observations We initially could not work the air-con. This was because the remote control needed new batteries. A simple test prior to occupation would have resolved this. Just 5 coat-hangers were provided for 2 people for a week. The balcony:- a wire drying frame was fixed to the ‘balcony’ rail – unfortunately there were no clothes-pegs; the 2 chairs provided were in need of some tlc they were rusty; the wall-hung boiler was smelly. The flyscreen in the doorway to the ‘balcony’ could not be completely pulled down. The mini fridge provided could not hold a wine bottle without first removing the shelves, the door-shelves were too narrow. There was no user guide provided for the operation of the hob. The absence of a toaster or a small frying pan was a pity. The ceiling above the shower-room window shows dark spots which could be the early stages of mould – perhaps the installation of an extractor fan, activated when the shower is in use, should be considered. Clearly, not all users of the shower had opened the window to allow ventilation. The first 2 flights of stairs have no handrail. OK going up but a potential hazard when descending with heavy cases. All the above indicate a lack of attention to detail which is a shame. Overall a basic apartment at a high price and if this is what you want, good luck.

We stayed here for 4 nights in November 2024 and were very pleased with the accommodations. The room we had (#3) was simple but clean and had everything we needed. The best feature of this was its location, right by the Duomo. We were just a few steps to a beautiful sea view, close to a few restaurants in the square, and a very short distance to the major shopping/tourist street. We were also very close to the beautiful San Domenico Palace (hotel). This is a small place with just a few rooms (maybe 4) plus two apartments. The challenges -- we were on the top floor: one flight up from the street entrance to the first floor, then another up to the second floor where our room was. We are older and it was a challenge to get our luggage upstairs. Also, there is no desk or anyone to help at the property, it is definitely an independent apartment/room. However, we managed that and loved the location. While simple, this is a good value. Other than the luggage challenge, I would definitely stay here again. I still might with the luggage problem, but that memory is still fresh!

Really clean and decor to a high standard. Cleaning lady really lovely. We were allowed to leave our cases before our official check in time. Great position to explore Taormina. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

The location is central, the room was clean, the SELF CHECK was perfect, the host was responsive to all our needs. Lack of free parking (minimum 25 euros/day which is added to the price of the room, which is a high cost)! I would offer the guests some of the local products as a welcome item, but also breakfast!

Al Duomo is not a hotel. In fact it has no reception. Everything is done by secure email. Piazza Duomo is the most charming piazza in Taormina with full of restaurants. Right next to the Piazza is Al Duomo Rooms & Flats. Room is clean, functional, and has a view of the Piazza. No elevator but we did not mind. Some hotels charge thousand euros per night. Not sure why. I prefer this place over The Belmond. It is not because of the price. It is cause I was able to sleep late two days in a row. When I am in Taormina Al Duomo Rooms & Flats is my place to stay.

Really nice flat in the center of taormina. The house is very pretty and the staff is very kind and helpful, totally recomend, very clean and very good flat, im looking forward to go there again, recomend.

Beautiful place to stay , clean ,very big and well designed room with a nice veranda . Al Duomo has paid attention to details . We used their locker to leave our luggage after checking out so we had time to take the cable car and go down to the beach.We had a marvellous staying!
