I had a good experience, except in the reservation. I have payed for a king rom but i stayed in a classic room. I had detect this diference when i have made the check out. I complained in curia hotel and the say that reservation was comunicated for a classic room. I hope that you could explain and give me a compensation for this reservation error. Very beautiful hotel that really manages to take us back 100 years in time. Magnificent spaces and a very good breakfast. However, there is one big drawback: the water in the shower did not heat up enough, which makes bathing unpleasant at this time of winter.

Красивое историческое здание. Вокруг красиво. Номера хорошие, но хотелось бы больше комфорта и чистоты. Подушки были не очень удобные. Выбор еды в буфете хороший.

Es importante aclarar que la hora dé entrada es a las 3 de la tarde. Nosotros fuimos antes y nos tocó esperar aunque ña recepcionista luego nos dijo que podía ser las 4. Las instalaciones muy bonitas y la comida no nos gustó mucho hay restaurantes por la zona que merecen más la pena. El desayuno bastante bien

We stopped for refreshment. We had tea & coffee. No pastries or cake available so we opted for toast. I think they had run out of butter as well. We had to move as they were rearranging the furniture! I used the toilet. The less said the better. Smelly & dirty. After coffee we went for a walk in the grounds. HORROR - neglected birds in a long aviary. Kept in apalling conditions. A small paddock of deer lying down in their muddy feces. Bleating, crying. One chewing on dry stalks. We quickly left before becoming permanently emotionally scarred by this disgusting scene.

The pool area was closed for renovation and we were informed after booking. The rest of our experience was good. The room was large and clean, the staff were friendly. There was a conference happening when we were there so the main areas were very crowded. The restaurant was only serving a buffet that night. Not too much around for dinner options that is walkable, but we drove a few minutes and found a friendly place with a great back patio.

There was no working air conditioning, no working pool, or spa. The golf course was shut down about 5 years ago. Most of the photos are not accurate and misleading. We were supposed to stay for 3 days. We were so disappointed, we only stayed 1 day. This was false advertising at it's worse.

This stay in Curia Hotel, was actually in the ir of 2005 i believe. But still in my memories, I remember the grandiosity of the building, the very high floor and the space mixed with stories and te years give you peace just siting, and enjoy the surrenders. Nice services, nice staff, don’t lose de massages options and the restaurant if remember a good experience

I’m here right now and this is not a great hotel….the wifi is really bad, there is nowhere close by to grab a meal, the hotel has a very bad vibe, the wifi only works (barely) when the tv is on…the golf part of the hotel is non existent, pool is closed …I’d suggest you stay somewhere else as this nowhere close to any amenities

I travelled with my partner for a wedding in July 2022; we stayed for 3 nights. Arrival/Departure This was really smooth and the staff were friendly. Room We had a corner room that overlooked the pool and the drive. The air conditioning didn't work throughout our stay; we were told that it wasn't working in the entire hotel. Given that it was July, this was really disappointing and the room was stuffy. The double vanity in the bathroom was a nice addition. Food & Drink We only ate breakfast at the hotel; which was a simple but delicious buffet. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel as it seemed expensive. Location We stayed for a wedding; there isn't a huge amount in Curia but it's very charming. The building itself is so grand and there are lots of old photos and books on display which was interesting to see. Staff The hotel was short staffed but everyone was working really hard. Facilities and Entertainment We used the pool one morning, it was a little chilly. We were told the spa and the golf course were closed which was a shame. We enjoyed a few drinks in the hotel bar, this seemed reasonably priced for a hotel.

Amazing place to spend some quiet time. Great amenities, staff is wonderful, awesome restaurant and breakfast. Spa was closed. Bar restaurant had the best Americano ever. Outside setting area was awesome. Highly recommended.

Dois dias passados neste hotel emblemático. Uma viagem ao passado sem dúvida. Um hotel com história. Adorei. Quartos modestos mas confortáveis, pequeno almoço diversificado. Funcionários simpáticos e muito prestáveis. Piscina interior excelente. Parte do spa a precisar de alguns retoques. A sauna estava desativada, um dos jacuzzis faltava uma grelha que colocava em perigo os utilizadores sugando e podendo mesmo magoar alguém. O outro jacuzzi estava cheio de verdete. Nada que uma limpeza não resolvesse. Existem varias salas em volta da piscina interior que estão desativadas que deveriam estar fechadas. Pensando que estivessem a funcionar quem entra vê desorganização e lixo das recentes obras. Desnecessário. Piscina exterior tem potencial para tanto e está tão mal aproveitada. Grande, espaçosa mas sem dúvida que precisa de uma boa remodelação, novo revestimento, gradeamentos pintados. E é um grande investimento. Mas para além desse investimento precisa de uma boa limpeza. A água estava suja, paredes da piscina suja de verdete, bichos, folhas. O lava pés à volta da piscina estava impróprio para "consumo". Aspecto desleixado. Espreguiçadeiras confortáveis, mesas e cadeiras do bar novas. Chegamos ao bar e temos um funcionário que não tem qualquer identificação ou roupa que demonstre ser funcionário do hotel/piscina. Sentado no interior do balcão, bastante à vontade esparralhado na cadeira. Que segundo ele nos atendeu porque estava bem disposto até porque não estava no horario dele. Funcionário esse que minutos depois de coca-cola na mão tal e qual um turista conversava com hóspedes onde criticava tudo do próprio local de trabalho. Vale a simpatia e esforço da menina do bar. Os jardins precisam de especial atenção. Alguns aspectos a melhorar sem dúvida. Mas um potencial enorme. Sucesso
