"We enjoyed the Baliyana Lodge very much. The owners were very friendly and pleasant people and they put their personal touch into making our stay a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were amazing. The cabin was private and beautiful and we slept well in a comfortable bed. The infinity pool overlooking the mountain forest was breathtaking. Amazing wildlife all around in this peaceful setting. The drive was its own experience as the roads were heavily damaged by the rains, but the Baliyana Lodge was well worth it. Highly recommend - a perfect 10 experience!"

"The property is a hidden gem. The pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed in casita #6. The room was more spacious than I had anticipated. The breakfast was delightful and different everyday. We enjoyed yogurt, fruit and juice every morning with a hot item as well. Shannon the owner a s her staff are friendly. She assisted me with booking tours and transportation. 10/10. Easy walk to beach and fantastic restaurants. A car is not necessary."

"The Hotel Boruca is an older hotel, but very well maintained. The rooms and premises were clean. A highlight of our stay was the excellent and friendly service of the manager/owner Marascio, the breakfast waitress, and the waiters in the restaurant. Speaking of food, the breakfasts were delicious--and oh how wonderful the food was in the restaurant. The hotel is located close to a grocery store, banks, and the beach. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend the Hotel Boruca to others."
