ที่นี่เป็นโฮสเทลที่ดีที่สุดที่เราเคยพักมาและเราเคยพักในโฮสเทลดีๆ เรามีห้องเดี่ยว 2 ห้องแยกกันพร้อมห้องน้ำส่วนตัวสำหรับการเข้าพักของเรา และห้องทั้งสองห้องสะอาด ใช้งานได้จริง และเงียบสงบ ห้องพักใช้พื้นที่ได้ดีมาก ในห้องอาบน้ำมีภาชนะรีฟิลขนาดใหญ่ซึ่งมีแชมพู ครีมนวดผม และครีมอาบน้ำ นี่เป็นข้อบ่งชี้ที่ยิ่งใหญ่สำหรับเราเพราะมันแสดงให้เห็นว่าโฮสเทลต้องการความยั่งยืนเพียงใด นอกจากนี้ยังมีน้ำพุดื่มรอบ ๆ โฮสเทลเพื่อให้คุณสามารถนำขวดน้ำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ได้ เราอยู่บนชั้น 5 ซึ่งมีถนนที่พลุกพล่านด้านล่าง แต่เราไม่ได้ยินเสียงอะไรเลย เราไม่ได้ยินเสียงอะไรจากภายในโฮสเทลตอนกลางคืน ยกเว้นบางทีอาจมีเสียงกดชักโครกจากห้องข้างๆ เป็นครั้งคราว (มันไม่ดังขนาดนั้น แค่มันเงียบ) ซึ่งทำให้เรานอนหลับสบายตลอดคืน พื้นที่ส่วนกลางเป็นจุดที่สนุกสนาน มีบ้านต้นไม้อยู่ข้างในและพื้นที่สีเขียว รวมถึงห้องครัว พื้นที่รับประทานอาหาร ฯลฯ การบริการก็ยอดเยี่ยมเช่นกัน! ขอบคุณมากสำหรับผู้หญิงที่น่ารักที่พยายามสอนฉันพูดมังสวิรัติเป็นภาษาจีนกลาง ผิดหวังอย่างเดียวคือจองหมดตอนกลับไทเป เลยไม่ได้พักที่นี่อีกระหว่างทริป 🤣

This is my 4th stay at Star Hostel. So far I’ve enjoyed all my stays. The location is very convenient as it is just minutes away from Taipei Main Station, where you can take the metro or trains. I chose a private room with ensuite bathroom. Price wise it’s definitely more affordable than a lot of hotels in the area. Rooms are clean and quiet. The common area is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is ok and they have a different menu every day.

This is best hostel I’ve been, the facilities, rooms and cleanliness are all excellent. Staffs are accommodating and helpful, rate is fair,breakfast is good! Some spots are also IG worthy. I highly recommend this hostel for tourists. Location is convenient!

Spent 5 nights in a single private room, and extended my stay by 1 night in a female 6-pax dorm room [my flights changed & hostel was fully booked out in private rooms hence the extra night in a dorm]. In short, loved my stay here and will return on my next trip to Taipei. Location - perfect access to airport train, the MRT, main bus and overland train station, plus plenty within walking distance of the hostel (food spots, cafes, massage, bike rental shops, sights like Liberty Arch, Ximending, Dihua are all walkable) and there is a delicious pepper bun shop next door, famous donut shop & a 24 hour FamilyMart across the street. Hostel is super well run, clean and organised, plus a beautiful light, wooden & plant filled space. The staff were friendly and chatty (special shoutout to Mita and Sherry who tirelessly listened to my ambitious plans and gave recommendations to get massages, find scones, hiking, walking tours, debating my flight drama and extending my booking, plus moving my luggage between my rooms while I was out cycling). There are plenty of water coolers to refill your water bottle, the kitchen area was always spotless and organised. Loved the focus on sustainability, as well as bathmats in the dorm shower room (no more wet floor everywhere) and towels for drying dishes in the kitchen. Breakfast was a taste of local/western fusion dish (a different dish each day) always with plenty of breads as a base start to the day. If I had one piece of feedback it would be for a bit more/different fruit (the green guava was popular but very unusual). Rooms are simple, but sufficient, beds were comfortable in both the private and the dorm room. Dorm had lots of privacy and space in the beds and lockers. It was a bit odd having to keep my suitcase in my locker - but they are big enough to fit a large suitcase, so very secure. While I met and chatted to various people staying at the hostel, due to us as individuals making an effort to chat, I do think the hostel could do a little bit more in creating interactive social experiences for their activities. The activities alternate between a Nintendo Switch and a movie night which don't quite foster an interactive environment. I It would be great if they could introduce something like a mini bar hop through the neighbourhood bars one night, a ********* cooking class in the excellent kitchen set up, a local walking tour one morning, even if they came at extra cost. That said, the hostel is booked out most of the time so probably doesn't need to do these things to get more guests... but it would take the hostel up a notch. Interestingly as much as the main category of guest was solo traveler or young groups of friends, there were a few families with kids and older couples staying there - so definitely a hybrid hostel. I stayed at this place for 4+3 days and on the 8th day I had to change room. At 9:30am I asked the staff if I could get the room so that I could move my stuff over without having to fully pack and unpack, rather than waiting until 3:00pm check in time. This is a courtesy that most hotels (in fact my experience is that all hotels have done that for me). The staff answered that they had no spare room at the moment but I said I was willing to wait. So I waited at the lobby until 11:00am and another staff showed up. By this time all people would have checked out so I asked again and the answer was that I had to wait for 3:00pm to check in. I was annoyed by this flip and questioned why they would not extend their courtesy especially when I had been staying there for 7 days. The staff decided that I was too much trouble and decided to kick me out of the hotel. I said I had already paid and would not accept her refund and I would wait at the lobby until check in time. She called the cops to evict me. The cops came and tried to mediate once they found that I was no trouble-maker, but the staff still wanted to evict me and the police said she had the right, I had to accept that. I then complained to the police about another staff tried to cheat me out of 900NT when I checked in but the police said it was not their responsibility. I complained this to the staff who turned out to be the manager and she would not take the case and said any complaint would only reaches her. She just said that I could report to consumer protection. Wonder why I could not experience the so-called ********* hospitality? I hope if the manager wants to post any video, please post both the check-in and check-out video.

Seriously the best hostel I’ve stayed at: extremely clean, lovely common area good for working and lounging, great cooked breakfast with veg*n options. Not a party hostel though if that’s what you’re looking for.

I travel Taipei alone and I stayed here for one week the hostel is very clean the offer very good breakfast. The staff are very accommodating the location to Central is near the Taipei Main Station. I recommend you to stay here if you travel alone to Taipei

Een uitstekende hostel! Van alle gemakken voorzien en hele goede service!! Was vooral erg schoon, licht en modern. Ontbijt was goed en sliep met 8 andere op een kamer, maar dit was voor mij geen probleem. Al met al een hele goede ervaring en zou zeker terug komen als ik de volgende keer in Taipei overnacht!

我入住的是單人房，有獨立浴廁，一個女生也能住得安心，衹是單人房都在5樓，要有心理準備把行李搬上搬下時要花點氣力。 每天早上有簡單的早餐供應，雖然簡單，但是也很有心的每天安排不同的食物。 大堂（COMMON ROOM）像網上看到的圖片那樣，真的很美很RELAX，尤其是房間不準飲食，晚上買點吃的喝的，坐在大堂休息一會，即使自己是一個人也是很開心的。 櫃枱的女生都很NICE，幫助我的是一名叫PEPE的女生，超NICE的，我告訴她CHECKOUT那天想去爬象山，她主動建議我爬完山後回來洗澡後才上飛機回家，她説可以讓我使用公共浴室，雖然最後我因為時間太趕沒有洗澡，但也感謝她貼心的建議。
