Where do I begin to express how incredible the Home2 Suites in the Rosenberg area of Houston is? As a frequent business traveler, I always make it a point to stay at this location every month. The staff here is truly exceptional. From the moment you arrive, Rohit greets you with genuine hospitality, often addressing you by name. The rest of the welcome crew is just as fantastic. The maintenance staff is always ready to assist with a friendly attitude, and the women who prepare breakfast do an outstanding job. The atmosphere they've created is nothing short of amazing. The hotel is consistently spotless, and they check in on you 20 minutes after you reach your room to ensure everything is satisfactory. Comfort is a priority here, and it's evident in the relaxing environment, the excellent gym, the clean laundry facilities, and the wonderful pool. The gym, in particular, surpasses many apartment gyms I've used. The location is also a major perk, with great restaurants, a fantastic HEB grocery store just five minutes away, and excellent shopping centers nearby. To top it all off, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and breakfast is complimentary. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. This place is perfect in every way!
5 stars for cleanliness, very cold AC, great customer service, location and ease of access on/off highway. We had a great experience here as we visited family in Katy, Richmond & Sugarland. The location was ideal and easily accessible by the major roadways without horrible Houston traffic or loud noise. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We are not accustomed to TX heat so we very much appreciated how well the AC worked. The staff were all very friendly & hospitable. We experienced no issues at all and we will definitely return.
Ok, where do I begin. When I walked in around 5:30pm on 10/9/23, I was greeted by the front desk staff, the young gentleman was very nice and friendly. I went to my room initially because the app said my electronic key was ready to use. Went to the 12th floor and nope, trek back down to the lobby and had to get a regular key. Frustrating to lug my stuff back downstairs. My room was really nice, size wise and they do clean it as well as possible but as all the reviews say, extremely outdated, needs everything replaced. What was really frustrating was the temperature of the water in the shower. Early in the morning, you turn on the water, you have to get in because you're on a time crunch. You stand there, sticking one arm at a time in the water and you're dying because it's so damn cold. By the time you get through most of your body, it finally warms up just in time to wash your hair. On my last morning there, I had a 7:20am flight so I was in that terrible cold shower earlier than I'd like to think about. Yes, I would run the water ahead of time as much as possible but come on! The hotel has potential, but they need to put some serious money into it. The hallway on the way to the elevators has some type of scented thing plugged in, I had to gag as I passed it everyday and wondered what needed to be covered up, scent wise. I've stayed at the Aria in Las Vegas, amazing smell when you walk in, they aren't trying to cover anything up, it's just a wonderful, stays with you and even provides a memory to reflect back on type of smell. Anyway, I was attending a conference. The room itself was fine, no issues there, however, each time we took a break to use the restroom down the hall by the restaurant, it was an adventure. We all laughed because you never knew which sink would leak out water and which would provide the soap. You also, typically had to use a roll of paper towel that sat on the counter that you had to rip off a piece to dry your hand. It was crazy. I would stay again if I absolutely had to, the convenience of attending my meeting and going up to my room during a lunch break was really nice. Sorry, I hate to give a negative review but maybe someone will listen and sink some money into this potential of a hotel. Nice employees though!
This is hands down the best hotel in the Sugar Land area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable during our sports trip with friends. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is ideal, with great restaurants nearby. Whenever we’re in Sugar Land, this will be our go-to hotel. I highly recommend it, not just for sports teams, but for families as well—an all-around outstanding experience!
BBen MArriving May 12, 2024 (about 4ish pm) I noticed a young man sitting by the Front Entrance so I parked outside of the Veranda. I acknowledged the young adult and proceeded in to check costs and availability. The young Lady provided all and I started to check the room. I noticed another car entering the Entrance area and I decided to move my vehicle. As I headed past the desk the young asked where I was going and I provided “to move Trk)….Surprisingly she said not to do that and the Marine/Roughneck living inside of me started to answer and I stopped me/him to provide instead “there is a Lady in the other car and they may need to move their car” mine complicating the drive thru. I didn’t think much about this until 9:00 pm when my truck parked across the Parking Lots farthest (fm my rooms visibility) location that a blk f150/2016 entered the spot next to my Trk which could handle a Honda Accord but not a Trk. I blinked my lights to let whoever know as I hadn’t seen anyone leave the Trk. Around 9:45 pm a young lady who accessed the Office was returning to the Trk. By 10:30 I blinked my lights again and the Trk finally drove off. Next morning it became evident that someone had been in the truck and attempted to siphon gas, a complicated job to perform on a Silverado or any later model truck. Since my gauge showed no loss I was relieved until I realized the Gas Door had been leaned on and was now broken. Summary this Best Western Parking Lot is being preyed upon by some group. The communication between the individuals and the Desk Clerk/Employee (possibly) seem questionable. Considering the initial check in activity provided. The next day I moved to the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Rosenberg TX, right down the Street fm this Best Western and found the Answer to all my traveling Americans dreams. The Hotel has 5 Stories surrounded by a meticulously maintained Property. The Check In Floor is open and beautifully decorated. I met all the Staff while spending 3 Days there and each Lady was friendly, attentive and ready to provide all necessary requests of we Travelors! I will access the Springhill Suites Marriot website to complete this 5 Star Review of one of the finest Hotels I have visited! (Open Parking Lot with no bad people upset about Bidens’ promise) Thanks, Benji funny old guy (PS: same price as Best Western Sugarland utilizing Triple A, Veteran or Senior ID)
I had made reservations a week before when arrived at my reserved time from Louisiana a 4 hour drive I was told at the front desk that she was sorry my reservations had been cancelled and she noticed it that morning but had no way of notifying me that she had no number on file I said my email was on file I received no response to that so I asked and what is the reason for my cancellation was my room given to someone else still no response.but after seeing and smelling the lobby I was sort of relieved that my Cousin and I didnt stay.I can say she was helpful in helping us another room but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. 😒😒
