Dont be put off by the low price.. Room is clean and tidy... Towel and soap.. Coffee making facilities in the room.. Plenty of plugs.. Bear in mind it's a university campus so no TV in the room.. Take a tablet as the free WiFi is more than capable.. Breakfast is really good... Both hot and cold food.. Honestly fantastic value for money

Stayed with a group of 11 couples in total. First impression from the driveway was excellent and we expected great things, but were disappointed. Access from the front is very difficult for anyone with mobility problems, due to the large number of steps, however, we found later a car park at the rear with flat access. The decor is dark, dismal and extremely tired. All dark brown and depressing, Carpets on the landings were threadbare. Furniture in the rooms was dated, chipped and stained. A thorough makeover is required throughout the whole place. There are lots and lots of steps to some of the rooms on every landing. There is only 1 lift, which is very small and not sufficient for the size of the hotel. 3 of our couples asked for room changes as soon as we arrived, due to unsuitability, facilities and appearance. The rest of us weren't too happy but decided to put up with them as it was only a weekend break. The dining room was very dark too, both in terms of decor and lighting. Personally I felt that the stairs were dangerous due to the dim lighting and the dark brown carpets and decor. Drinks were extortionate!!!!! £32 for a mediocre bottle of wine and this was the cheapest. £42 for 4x gin and tonics. Needless to say, we didn't drink as much as we would normally do. ON THE PLUS SIDE - the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good both in the evening and at breakfast. Lots of variety for continental and hot food, and good quality. Could not fault anything here, Beds and pillows very comfortable. Would I stay here again - not if it was my choice but if the group decided to return (which is very doubtful) then I would join them.

Oh Forest Hills I am so disappointed. Some of my first ever memories are of having fun here as a child. Which is why I was so looking forward to staying here and using the pool facilities etc. Unfortunately we didn’t get far. The grounds of the resort are, as so many users have mentioned, just beautiful. I’ve had lunch in the lounge area a few times and it’s been lovely, staff have been friendly and nice food with outstanding views. Moving on to our recent booking. I emailed about a week in advance to ask about booking the restaurant as the website didn’t let me and also to confirm we had a cot for our baby. Nobody ever got back to me. Why not? I received a telephone call after 9.30 pm one night later on in the week preceding our stay. No message was left and no attempt to phone again. I only figured out it was the hotel as the location showed on my phone as “Callendar”. So the next day I phoned back and was informed unapologetically that “we’ve been having issues with our website recently”. I asked to confirm that we had a cot and was told with a slight attitude “yes we saw the age of the child in your booking”. Upon arriving at the room we found out there was no mattress in the cot. We checked this with the housekeeping staff who informed us that the hotel didn’t provide mattresses for cots. This wasn’t something we were expecting as we have stayed in 2 hotels since having our son and both provided mattresses without question. If it’s the hotel’s policy not to provide mattresses that’s fine, but why didn’t anyone confirm this either by replying to my email or during that telephone call when I asked if there would be a cot? A young man from housekeeping delivered the happy news that there would be no mattress, again with an attitude, please train him he doesn’t have a clue what he’s on about. Your staff just don’t seem to care. I did however receive a plethora of emails beforehand trying to get me to upgrade which just clogged up my inbox so thanks. The other issue was that the lift wasn’t working. From the reviews I’ve read it looks as though this may have been out of order since some time in March? What on earth are you doing not getting that fixed? We had to haul the pushchair up some stairs for our very brief visit! Not a member of staff in sight aside from the disinterested plainclothes housekeeping staff, who were too busy swearing to each other about their personal lives to even acknowledge our presence (it’s really not a good look, please sort it out). The lady at receptionist was civil but not that friendly and didn’t look up at us until she was ready when we were trying to check in (which was a bad first impression). So when my husband went to ask for a refund (which you provided without argument , thank you) the same person ignored him in the queue and he could see quite clearly that she was on WhatsApp lol. Come on now. Would you be happy with this if that was you trying to get your money back? To top it off the manager was

เป็นโรงแรมบูติคขนาดเล็กที่จัดว่า “ห้องพักพร้อมห้องอาหาร” และตั้งอยู่ในบริเวณอนุรักษ์ที่เงียบสงบซึ่งน่าจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของย่านที่พักอาศัยที่ร่ํารวยที่สุดของเมือง Stirling โรงแรมสร้างด้วยหินทรายท้องถิ่น (ตามสไตล์จอร์เจีย) และโดดเด่นด้วยหน้าต่างขนาดใหญ่ เพดานสูง และลักษณะอื่นๆ ที่คาดหวังไว้ - สะอาด เงียบ สบาย ห้องพักอบอุ่น กว้างขวาง และคุณภาพการนอนของเรายอดเยี่ยมมากๆ จริงๆ แล้วพนักงานทุกคนก็ไม่สามารถให้ความช่วยเหลือได้มากกว่านี้ตลอดเวลาที่เราอยู่ที่นั่น ไม่มีอะไรที่มีปัญหามากนัก เราเพลิดเพลินกับอาหารเช้าที่น่ารักรวมถึงอาหารเย็นในห้องอาหารที่ติดกัน ชอบเมนู - ตรงที่คุณสามารถทานอาหารชุดได้ในราคาที่เหมาะสมมากหากต้องการ เชฟได้เตรียมขนมมะนาวที่ประทับใจมากออกแบบสําหรับคนเป็นโรคเบาหวาน และเห็นตัวเลือกมังสวิรัติและ GF อยู่ในลิสด้วย องุ่นก็เลือกได้อย่างดีด้วยและพนักงานที่มีความรู้ช่วยปรับให้เข้ากับคอร์สของเราได้ดีมาก ที่จอดรถมีหกคันและด้านหลังโรงแรมและที่จอดรถบนถนนมากมาย ไวไฟทํางานได้ดีสําหรับเราในห้องพักรวมทั้งห้องอาหารและห้องวาดรูปชั้นล่าง เราสังเกตเห็นฝุ่นที่ระดับสูงในวันแรก (ผมใส่รองเท้า 189 cm เลยทําให้ผมเข้าถึงราวอาบน้ํา ตะขาบประตู และกับดักฝุ่นอื่นๆ ได้ง่าย) แต่นี่อาจเป็นปัญหาที่บ้านพักประจํา และทีมงานก็รีบแก้ไขให้อย่างรวดเร็ว ห้องพักของเราได้รับการบริการทุกวันและสะอาดสะอ้านหลังจากนั้น โดยรวมแล้วโรงแรมให้การพักผ่อนที่เงียบสงบในทําเลที่ยอดเยี่ยม - สะดวกต่อการไปยังปราสาท สนามกอล์ฟ และสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวอื่นๆ พร้อมกับการเดินชมวิวที่ดีเยี่ยม ใกล้แหล่งช้อปปิ้งหลักๆ คาเฟ่ และร้านอาหารท้องถิ่นแนะนํา เช่น Hermann's และ The Indian Cottage คุ้มค่ากับการเข้าพักและรับประทานอาหารถ้าอยู่ในย่านนี้!
