Beautiful lodge, big rooms (we got an upgrade!), very calm and peaceful, close to wine estates and good restaurants, very friendly staff, every room has a private terrace and garden, good breakfast, nice pool.

This is an ideal place to base yourself around Stellenbosch. Wonderful welcoming hosts, lovely rooms and a really great breakfast and an ideal location. Not too far from Stellenbosch but near enough to scoot into town if needed

Our 3th time so it must be good. Secure wine estate with own generator in case of loadshedding. Big rooms with excellent beds. Breakfast is fantastic with cold buffet and you can order hot food from the kitchen. Honesty bar and you get a complimentary wine tasting of their wines.

The Accommodation, Hosts and Location were wonderful and I am happy to recommend this property. It was clean, friendly and I would like to return with my family. Close to the Wine farm. I really enjoyed and the team made us feel welcome.

We have always loved Eikendal Lodge and were a bit apprehensive as this was our visit undernthe new Management. Didn’t need to be concerned. Everything was lovely and friendly. Yes, some things were a little different but everybody has to make their own mark. We spent three nights in Room 4 and came away feeling totally relaxed. This is a truly wonderful place. The gardens look great under Joshua’s leadership. Yes, we will certainly be going back to this gorgeous place.

Eikendahl Lodge is a perfectly located country style hotel, in the middle of vineyards. The breakfast is perfect and has a very nice selection of all things expected. Fresh fruits, juices, coffee and so on are served with a lovely smile. We will come back again...

This small lodge was perfect for our two night stay for a wedding nearby. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, with a terrace and countryside view. The staff were super friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We loved it.

Only stayed 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday but what a tremendous start. The host cannot do enough to ensure your stay is comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and our room was spotless. Great location just outside (15 minutes) drive out of Stellenbosch. The wine tasting is well worth the time so is Giovanni’s the Italian restaurant. 1 minute drive or 15 minutes walk through the vines. You will not be disappointed.
