"We loved our stay at the Gariwerd Motel. The hosts were warm and welcoming and were very obviously committed to the motel and the community as a whole. We appreciated the native medicines Kelly had at the motel and her understanding of the landscape and the area as a whole. The room was clean and comfortable and there were plenty of other amenities provided such as bbqs and a kitchen. A fantastic place to stay to explore the beauty of Halls Gap."

"Very nice cottage in a central area of Grampians, good to gravitate around, or even start hiking from there like we did (to nearby Venus baths). Lots of kangaroos and cuckatoos around, ideal for nature lovers. The owners were very helpful. I would definitely come again."

"The room is considered for a family trip with three or four children, and is not suitable for a family of three."

"It was sparkling clean, had all the kitchen equipment we needed and some basic condiments. Loved the hot tub and massage chair! There were also laundry facilities available - and we saw a kangaroo pack right behind the laundry room."
