Baymont by Wyndham Spokane

We paid in advance for the room. On the hotel check in policy the hotel on fine print stated that we can check in latest by 6 am the following day. At 3:15 the hotel tagged us as a no show contrary to their contract with us. We were turned out into the street in Spokane even if they had already received our funds in advance. They have declined to give us a full refund for what was their fault. We spent 10000 usd on trip.com per month and would caution other business travels to be aware that their actual actions are different from stated and wanted to share our experience of being put out in the street. We don’t want other people to go through the same. I’ll do we did not use the room at 3:15 AM after almost 20 hour journey from Houston to Seattle by train from Seattle to Spokane arriving to get into the hotel to rest and shower denied. I don’t want anything else to go through the same experience it was terrible.

We had an amazing experience staying at the Baymont. I’m not sure the names of the staff but it was a lady and her nephew. Even though the printer has an issue….haha! Thanks guys!!

The building is very old and disappointing when we drive up. They had us on the 2nd floor - the hallway had an overpowering rancid cigarette smell that was unbelievable. We complained so they quickly moved us to the 3rd floor which was much better. The hallway and room did not stink. Room was pretty clean except for a few hairs in the bathroom. Decent breakfast and pleasant staff. Probably won’t stay here again, but for the price it was ok.

The room itself was clean which was nice. The staff upon check in was more focused on getting their food than helping guests and didn’t explain the $100 hold on my card or check out details. I found it odd

The room was very nice overall. However there was only one chair to sit in and it was worn out with missing upholstery - need two chairs. The bathroom and bed was excellent.

Although our room was extremely dated, the hotel was safe, convenient and the people working here were exemplary.

I appreciated how comfortable the bed was. The walls were pretty thin, we could hear everything going on outside our room, but luckily we both fall asleep easily. The breakfast was sad, only cereal, some pastries and waffles... we went out for breakfast instead. The staff was very helpful, 10/10. All in all it was sufficient for our needs for the weekend.

The hotel was good but ******* ripped off me and my sister. Reservation was supposed to be refundable up to the day before the stay but ******* forced us to pay again to change the reservation a week before the stay.
